Y'all keep talking down about Mrs DeBarge and her not standing up for children in the way that y'all think that she should have she prayed for children she tried to talk to her husband and stand up to him all he did was hit her but guess what everyone's saying like oh I would have done better than this DeBarge I would have done better than mrs De Barge in and took care of my children well we'll see about that if you're putting the same predicament she was in. I'm glad her children didn't hold any anger torture because that wouldn't have helped them grow and get over the abuse is not like it was the mom's fault that her husband was abusive to her kids and all that and she did try to stand up in a righteous Christian way and like her trying to kill the husband for doing that would have been a good idea for abusing your kids because she would have went to jail for that any darn way. I hope the DeBarge family continues to prosper and do well you just got to do forget the past and forgive people and move on and you know till it takes❤❤❤❤

I'm just seeing this in 2023... I'm glad they didn't do a Reality Show... it's evident that they are a close-knit family and love one another. Hopefully and prayerfully through Christ, they are healing. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I pray for the Debarge family, and pray that mama Debarge have repented from her past concerning her children. Putting too much trust in her husbands, instead of listening to her children at younger age, our children are never to old nor young to listen to. Don't ever let your children be afraid to talk to you,.too make them afraid that you will go back and tell the person who done it to them.

🙋🏾‍♀️ respect but for me as a mental health counselor I truly hope they do not do another reality TV show that’s not the way to go when you’re trying to heal if they’re trying to heal I hope they do it privately away from the media they did many reality shows or common going on people panel talking about their demons and peoples fault supposed to fix it it really is you cannot heal to the public it needs to be silent it needs to be personal without cameras without audience just you that counts therapist and you being honest. Make a statement and I have to be honest no disrespect to this person but I think their mother had to be honest and take most of the responsibility for her children these individuals who went through the horrific pain they went through mentally physically sexually abuse because the mother didn’t save her children she went back and yes he abuse her but still I still have not heard their mother take responsibility for not protecting her children and I think until the mother takes responsibility on her part as a parent who’s supposed to protect their children they will not heal this is why they haven’t healed and they will not heal until the mother Adalene whatever her name is the DeBarge mother take responsibility for her part in not taking responsibility for saving her children.🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️🌎

It amazes me how anyone can judge their mother (whom we do not truly know) for doing what most women did in that same era. They love their mother to the utmost who are you to be more mad at her they are. Slavery was very damaging to the black community and unfortunately healing and recovery can be a long arduous road as we can all see even to this day. I pray we let each other off the hook and learn to help those hurting and break generational curses so we can put the nail in evil's coffin! Every family has dirty laundry so be sure to start with airing your own!

The problem start with their mother who never protected her children

Apart from coming from a big family, They all have so many children, all talented and they don't promote their own children at all. It's weird.

I wouldn't mind seeing them on a reality show but in the form of maybe a series of therapy sessions..their story is sad and amazing at the same time..the mom triggers me...horribly! She hides behind her smile and god. I don't understand not protecting your children...there is just no excuse for that.
