Wow. Its a very long time since I worked there and seeing inside views on this video brings back plenty of memories. Sometimes Keiths RS500 went down the road on slicks and trade plates during early morning testing. I doubt any original staff are still about. Last I heard Mark Vaughan bought the company after it went bust in early 2000's. Hope he is still successfully owning it, he understood finance. Thanks for posting

This what a PROPER Mini Cooper S should be like, not these new so called ( badge engineered ) Mini Coopers are in my opinion an insult to the original proper Mini,s, more than like John Cooper had NOTHING what so ever to do with them, the new cars simply are cashing in on the name! I would NOT have a new Cooper even if you gave it too me!

i did a quick and dirty vid to show how to convert this lens to nikon 1 mount, and activate vtr button and power zoom. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6WteIGXfa93qJo (the nikon 1 series is a 1" sensor and canon v series lenses are also for 1" rgb vidicon tube)

Sorry but that is NOT the the ‘exact’ sound of the guitar. That is the sound of the guitar WITH some ‘reverb’ added in. Just saying.

I got this lens for my BMPCC(super16mm one) on ebay and arrived today, however I can't focus to infinity from 15mm to about 40mm. Someone says its about the adapter, do you have any experience about this issue and what brand are you using with this lens. Also, do you make it parfocal? It's a rare video and I feel happy to see someone sharing some same interests. Thanks.
@thelydiaspringexperiment64373 жыл бұрын
remove the lenses mount and there will be shims to adjust to parfocal performance. otherwise get your adapter on a lathe but its very fine work as in .001mm makes a difference

got a 10x16 16mm-160mm f2.2 for cheap with fungus. adapted a mount for nikon j1 and it fills the frame like it was made for it. i added 2 lithium battery to power the zoom and built a grip frame and viewfinder lens. full hd camera for under 50 bucks with macro and amazing focus pull. despite quite a bit of fungus its not noticeable in the frame

@thelydiaspringexperiment64373 жыл бұрын
@@ciattylovesperoni go see his channel, he did a teardown on the lens and shows how to apply power, use the power zoom, auto iris, and vtr record button. full mod including changing the jvc mount to standard c mount (no need on the v10x15) all v series lenses cover 1" sensor native, j series cover 2/3 but often just make 1 with some vignette

In 1966 I used to own a 848cc 1960 mini and about 1973 a 998cc 1972 mini. Brilliant little cars, the early minis had sliding windows with a chrome button type opener, changed to plastic later on and then of course wind up windows. I remember losing all drive on the early min, Crown Wheel retaining nut came loose as I remember, sorry I am starting to reminisce here. Great Video many thanks.

This company certainly knows how to do mini engines
@tollyt74654 жыл бұрын
I should hope so.. They've been the go to performance specialists for minis for decades, and the first to make videos (vhs😂) for the good DIY mechanic to increase their own cars performance.. The actual car they're rebuilding this phase 2 engine for is on the road somewhere in Scotland I believe, and it's a pocket rocket..
