Great question! TotalFit push-to-connect fittings are approved by the Uniform Plumbing Code and International Plumbing Code for installation in a concrete slab or direct burial in the soil. For these installation methods, cover the fittings with 4 to 6 mil poly wrap. Be sure to check your local plumbing code as well!

Nop, when I bought this tool couple weeks ago , the tool didn’t cut smooth like that,1” and 1-1/4” pvc broke into a few pieces, trash!!! when it cut the 2” abs pipe, it squeezed the pipe to oval shape before the blade went through, felt like it would break this plastic pipe, and it was not a straight cut either . After that , just returned it to get money back.

For larger pipe sizes Uponor recommends the Milwaukee Tool M12 Plastic Pipe Shear Kit, and for smaller diameter pipe sizes we use the Milwaukee ProPEX tubing cutter. Uponor PEX has many benefits over CPVC, including flexibility, tight bend radius, no joining glues, solvents or chemicals, and visual connections that can't be dry fit and can be air tested.

More questions than answers for me! haha. I have a 2-loop system I'm putting in, both for a kitchen. So to me, I think as long as I keep my loops the same length, I can get away with a plain "open" manifold since the system is thermostat controlled with a Taco actuator. It's meant as supplimental heat, just to warm the floors and not really to heat the space.

No matter what put a valve on the loops at minimum. You can always balance with a 1/4 turn valve too if needed. But yes in theory if the loops are identical in length, you won’t need it. But you always want to be able to isolate each loop, even if it’s just to remove air

Recently purchased these. They are amazing... No need for clamping tool and small clamps. No nothing about plumbing. Fixed leaking water line. Cost $35 total vs $99 clamper and clamps. Saved alot of money. All i can say is thank you for awesome products. Will tell all.
