I implemented same kind of solution for another client from another company. Where system would plan everything in the night , Planner will come in the morning validate the plan , change if needed. Drivers alraedy assigned to FO's as per given business rules , even driver gets notification on a particular time that shipment is assigned to him/her. Driver has clear visibility that where he will drive truck to , even he can plan his personal stuff accordingly. Also drivers start the navigation (Here maps ) from that app and deliver the goods by scanning label and app validates if its the correct consignee. drivers could also take pictures for proof of delivery and pictures were uploaded to corresponding FU attachments. Aah I cant remember much it was awesome experince , M happy i designed that as a techno functional TM champ :-)
