A horse abuser. Yes he was banned from the 5th largest outdoor show. One I always attended. I jumped. His horse refused a jump. He started beating it. Not a corrective slap of the croup A continued beating. The horse was terrified. The spectaculars were booing & yelling for him to stop. The announcer told him to leave the ring. The ring master even walked out to remove Rodney from the ring. We can only wonder how the horse was treated afterwards. There had been rumors among the exhibitors of jumpers who said he was harsh on horses. It was about money with him. Good horses meant more money. That day many lost respect for him and pitied his horses. He may have been banned from showing for several years. By the American Horse Show Association. You heard nothing about him. The incident was reported in a horse news magazine.

One of my favorite equestrian teams ever. Jenkins and Idle Dice. Thanks for this.

The winning horse was Rise and Rule, ridden by Teri Rudd. He was a horse that I bought off the track as a 3 yr old for $1000, skin and bones at the time. I owned him for years and a sale was in the progress at the time of this class. I wish I had never sold him.

I can't believe I found this!!! The first horse is Rise and Rule, a TB that I bought off the track for $1000. He was skin and bones with platter feet. I had him for a number of years and a sale was in the process when he was at the big Fall shows. He was ridden here by Teri Rudd. He also won the Puissance at the Garden, Washington, and the Royal Winter Fair. He was supremely talented and the bigger the jumps the better he did. He was a sweetheart of a horse. I used to get on him bareback in the pasture and sit on him when he was laying down in his stall. I wished I had never sold him.

Flame holder that’s ur problem
@BlairGarrison-ul8ty9 ай бұрын
First thing, check to make sure incoming gas line is correct diameter. Secondly, with a manometer check for correct gas pressure at the gas valve inside heater. If those two things are as they should be, separate combustion chamber into two halves and clean flame holder. Last possibly would be to change the blower motor.

Great video, thanks! Here I am, 43 years later, and I still prefer to ride TBs, still buy them off the track. They can still do it, too -- but alas, who can ride them any more?

Agree but they really teach you to ride don't they? I love them also!

Excellent performance of this Baroque classic! Great sense of timing, dynamics, and overall musicality. A quintessential piece essential to the development of any serious aspiring young artist.
