This is the only song my husband will dance to! It’s been our song forever. We will be married 32 years on 10/14/24.
@constancefinley45565 ай бұрын
Gill co-wrote the song for his wife Janis to celebrate their marriage. Ironically, the song's appeal is so timeless that it outlasted the marriage it was written to commemorate, which ended in June of 1998. The single was released in September of 1991. The other writer on the song was Max D.Dec 29, 2015

Beautiful song. Me and Jim share the love which is heavenly.. we crossed so many hurdles but still love each other.. we feel each other from distance and know our mind.. we two are blessed satan played tricks many time but living God resqied our love relation. We are husband and wife spiritually long time

As a pedal steel player ( not a great one) I reckon Paul Franklin needs to stop farting on with such a lovely tune!

So gracious of Paul to play so closely as Mr. Hughey did on this classic. No ego, just class. Beautiful.

Vince, your humor reminds me of Glenn Campbell in his early days. Also both of you were/are outstanding musicians.

There'll never be another John Hughey. I've heard numerous steel players try that turn around, the closest I ever ever heard was Mike Johnson.
