How is John still in a job?

John should stop pretending that product developers or engineers design software. They don't. They code it after researchers and designers design the experience based on craft and science and great prototypes.

One thing that isn’t talked about enough in trading or business is having a solid support system from your friends and family or even your spouse. I can say with absolute certainty I wouldn’t be where I am today without Mr david_blackett If you are struggling with emotions and keeping your psychology in check then take a look at who you have around you, or have a conversation with your gf, bf, husband or wife and work together, because it will make a world of difference. Someone that not only encourages and supports you, but can also tell you when you are being a dumbass and how to fix it, and he can even help you make money online You can contact him on WhatsApp Tag them below 👇🏻 +1(702)500-7227

How does this guy still have a job after so many failed tries haha. But i get the point. This is actually a concept founded by Dr.Clay Christensen, HArvard Business School Professor. Please see his milkshake example to explain this concept.

Fantastic video! But I wished it would include more info about JTBD itself instead of what it´s not. It´s a great approach to build & innovate a product in a way that solves customer problems. For more information about basic JTBD, I would recommend reading this article by my colleague, it´s short & simple: blog.zenkit.com/jobs-to-be-done-take-two-b4e43be7308a

Basic user research, presented in a confusing way..
@adeoye_
@adeoye_ 3 жыл бұрын
You'd find that most "user research" only scratches the surface. JTBD unpacks so many other interesting ideas such as offering a unique way to view competition to your product and targeting users emotional rather than functional needs.

Good video. But JTBD sounds like basic user research to me. The character was asking his users about the context in which they would use his product. That seems too obvious to be at the heart of JTBD. What am I missing?
@JonathanDevine
@JonathanDevine 7 жыл бұрын
You are close, but JTBD focuses on what people *have* done which is much different than what they say they would do. It also looks for those switching moments from first thought through use, so it captures the consumers discovery and decision process leading up to using any product.

User research is not about asking users what they would do. If you take qualitative methods like shadowing or contextual inquiry you are trying to understand and observe behaviour despite what users say.

JBTD is a tool that can be used in user research. JTBD can be a hypothesis in which you can experiment with your target customer

More than 2,000 people have watched this, several people liked it, no one disliked it - great! This video is about jobs to be done and my "job to be done" is to find out more about this topic and the job that you wanted me to do by watching it was to visit your web site. Why do you make it so difficult to do what we both want to do? Please make it easy for me by including the url in the description. Also, since you added value with this video then for me it is ok to end with "visit jtbd.org to learn more.
