Utah powder.....so unlike our Cascade concrete. most of the time here, it's like skiing through a vanilla pudding.

How about tips on adjusting to the new TX Pros. Out of the gate the cuff feels almost too stiff and the boot feels very upright even though the forward lean is almost maxed out. I only have 2 days on them so far. Hopefully I get use to them.

In this video I was riding the 22 Designs Lynx and Scarpa TX Pro (old ones). I spend most of my time on 22 Designs Outlaw X and Scarpa TX Comp boots!

There were definitely other skiers out that day... but it was certainly a quiet one for the central Wasatch. Late season usually has a couple of storms roll through after many people are "over it"

Thank you! I think they will be a hit. Sounds like they have changed slightly since I skied the pre production version late last season. I think besides the obvious upgrades over the old generation... the biggest thing everyone will notice is it is pretty stiff laterally (think edge control). They felt very precise. I know I am overdue, but I promise I will make some new boot content!

After having the summer to ponder your thoughts, what do you think of the new TX Pro? All the reviews keep talking about how great they are to tour, but I am more concerned with how they are for charging at the resort. Thanks!

It sounds like the boot may have changed slightly since the pre production version I skied in the spring. I think the biggest thing for resort skiing... they are really stiff laterally (think increased edge control) they felt very precise.

Hey, great skiing and videos. You're really smooth and relaxed looking. I'm looking for improvements every time I'm out skiing and wonder if you can pass along some advice. I know it's always dynamic to the moment, but what sort of weighting are you looking for, 50/50, or...? Also interested in your skis and what you like in a Tele ski. Thanks!

Thank you! Definitely a dynamic movement. I think 50/50 is a good start but it depends on the turn style/shape/terrain etc. I have been skiing on Freeheel Life Protector prototypes. I had the chance to build some custom skis when I worked there. I have a preference for some early rise tip/camber underfoot/flat-ish tails but that could be some good video topics!
