I have ridden or driven in every state in America, also driven across Canada, to be honest I found much of it uninspiring and have had better experiences in Europe and Asia. I stopped going to America when they voted in Trump the first time, I have no plans to ever return!

Incredible trip, incredible video. I love the detail regarding packing and planning, and the detailed breakdown of price. Thank you so much for sharing.

Great production and simplistic yet effective style- no annoying music or off-topic segments. Makes me want to do similar on my Harley Heritage 114. I’ve been riding quite a while and prefer a large windscreen and backrest so kudos to you for going the distance without either of those. Curious if you put on much weight after all those great meals and not much if any exercise? Thanks for a great video!

wait did you buy the motorcycle for that trip specifically or was that already your own motorcycle before the trip?

Great video and an amazing trip! I just drove (a car) from Seattle to San Diego in October. It was a bucket list trip and I loved it. The beauty of the Oregon coast was a shock

Should have gone around the peninsula of Michigan in the great lakes circle tour! Thats a great road trip, up to the upper peninsula, I think that'd be a great motorcycle ride.

Also, would have gone to North Dakota to see the teddy roosevelt natl park along I-80 via backroads between 12 & 14, and then go through Montana towards yellowstone

You left out the part where you gained 25 pounds eating all that American fast food. %^)

13:39. You missed the chance to drive up to Boston, then head east through Massachusetts (10x more interesting than CT) along Route 2 to Albany NY. Also, I would have put Maine and Nova Scotia on that trip too. 😀

I grew up in Roanoke, Va. If memory serves me the name has Indian origin. Roanoke was also know as “Big Lick” because there were some salt deposits that wildlife came to lick. When I was in college at Va Tech, I used to ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway on my Honda on Saturday mornings to Peaks of Otter Lodge for breakfast.

I own a BMW R1250 GS, an R1250 R and a R nineT Scrambler. Both the R and nineT are naked bikes. Wonder how your Puig Screen performed? Did you reserve your hotels in advance or just pop in and ask if room was available?

Thank you for sharing your trip-- and with such detailed information! I am curious about the bike: Did you know prior to flying to the states that you would get that make/model? Did you communicate with a dealer ahead of time, or just walk into a dealer and see what they have on hand? Did you consider bigger bikes like the RT, or rather just keep it smaller/simpler. Financed it? Paid cash? Sorry for the silly questions, just curious how that worked. Thanks again!

Great video, incredible trip. It’s exactly what I’d like to do. There’s no need to suffer the old like that. All you need to do is drop in a 2nd hand store or donation store and buy a few mid layers or jacket for a cup of coffee. Donate it back near your last stop. 👍👍

Awesome trip indeed, planning a similar trip too but originating from Toronto. Seems like you didn't need to pack a Jerry can. Just curious, how many miles can you get on a full tank of gas?

Amazing trip. You seem to have hit tons of the really scenic places in the U.S. There's more. --- It's a wonder you could get back to Florida with only one seat reserved. Given the stuff you were eating most of the time I figure you must've put on at least 15 kg! 🤣

Man, what an amazing trip. I know many of those roads, stitched together over 3 continent spanning trips of my own, all done in various small sports cars. Now I see I have to try something like this on a motorbike. Thanks for sharing it all!

your food picks are wild. Texas road house in Chicago and bbq in Santa Cruz? Pretty much the opposite of what you want to eat for the location that you're in. What's next? Mexican food in Oklahoma city?

Thanks for sharing this awesome road trip. Also, the specified total cost was very informative. My main concern doing such a trip is how to avoid junk food and eat healthly. Is that even possible in the US?

A coworker and i did all 48 states and 5 provinces in Canada back in the 80s. Did this over a 10 years period since we only had 2 weeks vacation a year and wanted to take our time. Truly memories that will last a lifetime, like the night camping in Monument Valley, when a horse near the tent started snorting and I pulled open the flap, turned on a flashlight only to be looking at two red eyes, and a low growl that said you better turn that off and mind your own business. When you’re eye level with a coyote you better listen! I rode a BMW R80 RT and he rode a Goldwing. So hot in a Nevada desert when we stopped to eat OUTSIDE we started throwing water on each other to cool off, only to be bone dry a mile down the road. So cold in Yellowstone we couldn’t tie a fly on the fishing line, only to be rescued by a next door camper with coffee and lighter fluid to start a fire, and yes we did catch a Trout. MEMORIES don’t get me started.😊

That is a Harley trait. Fast on the straights, slow on the corners. That is why you have to get around them, as they ruin doing the curves.
