Okay, this is officially my favorite animatic for this song. I love how you made them not just scared but worshipful, like, this is ZEUS. This is the King of Olympus, manifest before their eyes. The mix of abject terror and groveling is just perfect, especially juxtaposed with how Zeus handles it. He's not flexing, he's not showing off, he's just doing his job. They violated the laws of the gods, SOMEONE is to be punished. For him this is just another day on the job.

Honestly this is probably one of my favorite interpretation of this Song out of the others that are around

I'll be honest - I did NOT expect to become this emotional after hearing the song for like a thousand times and watching animatic over animactic but ... Damn. DAMN. You hit me right in the feels and I absolutely love your take at this song ... How the crew fall to their knees to beg for their lives fairly in the beginning, Eurylochus not once stopping to care for the other men and desperately saving one of them for a short time when he wanted to jump in the water, how tired and utterly broken he looks, Odysseus watching his crew while (deep depp down) knowing he will sacrifice them and being soft for them, the crew being angry at Odysseus and Eurylochus for both their mistakes, Eurylochus' dead and twisted body being the last thing Odysseus sees, Odysseus reaching out to someone (Penelope) but no one is there. I absolutely LOVE everything. Zeus being the one who creates the illusion of Penelope is a nice detail as well, and really emphasizes his role in Odysseus' journey. Even though he has been less offensive than Poseidon (at least until now ...), he has been influencing Odysseus from the beginning, and him creating something that ultimately convinces Odysseus of sacrificing his crew perfectly lines up with "This is the will of the gods" (instead of quoting a "bigger" reason like destiny or something) in regard to killing Hector's infant son - there is a way he wants Odysseus' journey to go and to end. Sooo, yeah, I really like how you made Zeus less "letting Odysseus choose" and more "directly manipulating Odysseus' choices". Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. Have I already mentioned I love this animatic?

oh this is the first animation that makes the crew go against BOTH at the end, not just Ody, that's a very interesting and frankly realistic detail!

WELL DONE! 1. This is the first animatic I've seen Ody walk into any situation absolutely resigned. He's the first one that drops to his knees. It makes total narrative sense- he says "we're too late" at the end of Mutiny and prostrates himself. Perfect. 2. I also like that you included the crew reactions and that they were varied. It also makes total narrative sense. I'm loving the fact that we're seeing more of the crew's reactions in Epic animatics since Ody's choices don't exist in a vacuum. 3. This is the first animatic I've seen where Eury is blamed and attacked. Again, 100% human and understandable. What a wonderful creative choice. 4. Ody looking at Eury's body in the water was heartbreaking. So good. Just fantastic work!!!

I especially loved the part where the crew is mad at both Odysseus and Eurylochus because they are both at fault. Ody left Polyphemus a cripple and caused all his fleet to drown at Poseidon's fury and then sacrificed six men to Scylla. Eurylochus opened the wind bag when they were close to Ithaca and killed Elios' sacred cattle despite Odysseus' desperate plea. I loved that you addressed it, bravo

2:38 YES! FINALLY! Finally, someone showed that it was Zeus who did the vision of Penelope. It’s still not direct transformation, but this specific animatic at least shows that he is the one who created. I love it!

We have seen as had Zeus the true character of Odysseus and finally the last truth of it hitting his friend and crew.😢

I love this Zeus handsome viral but holding all the traditional traits long wavy hair, beard, his salacious smile and his joy at the pain to come. But he also loves getting back at Odysseus. I enjoy in Epics unique and artistic way of Jorge’s creative vision of an EPIC Historical Poem that many , not myself,who can become lost in and never dive into the meanings. I like in this song how he compares what he will do to ship , crew and Odysseus. Side note: I Absolutely, find humor in the comparison of Zeus making about Pride being a woman in his own way trying to warn everyone. Ships are too called she. In doing so it shows Zeus’s own Pride that he came up with a an intelligent comparison. Too Deep😂 Sorry love of mythology writings and Jorge’s creative and intelligent story and of course his own ability to come up with a great metaphor and riddle.

This was so insanely cool, from the color-coding to the magic to the cycle transitions to the callback to Glaucus to that insane on-beat walk cycle!! Something I love that I don't think anyone else has mentioned is her eyes going bright white when she mentions "the prophet" because she already knows that's what Tiresias's eyes look like!!

Man the crew reactions being a mixed of being desperate and jumping ship trying to save themselves, the other ones accepting there fate, and the other one being pissed at not only there Captain but the second in command it was such a chaotic mix of emotions I really enjoyed it

I did not expect the woman to be so clear. And the fact the crew members have actual distinct designs and are so terrified? Damn! Seeing them kneel was great too, he's the king of the gods, not going on their hands and knees for him would be weird. The crew members attacking Eurylochus too was surprising but it make sense. And damn, Eurylochus' corpse at the end with the marks from being struck by lightning? Truly marvelous. All around great animatic, bravo !
