The description says it was 20-30 lbs (a baby). I've seen obese cats that weight. Guy was lucky.

People complaining here on their runner form pissing me off. First, they were not dressed properly, havent had running shoes. Second, they havent warm up. Third, most important, they had to keep up to WR marathon pace. They are regular people, not athlets, most of them not even amateurs runners. Record your old momma or pappa running, tell them to run this pace, and then we can analyze (and laugh) at their form. Before reading this comment section I wasn't aware how ignorant and stupid is runners community.

"The type of practice they put in to get that done" Pretty sure I saw that he does a 2h30min marathon as a part of his weekly training. That's a 25% increase in time, so if you think you can run a 4 hour marathon, try running a 5 hour pace for a little while. That's how much he's slowing down in his training relative to him.

I would have loved to have the film end with a CTA instead of just saying “this shouldn’t happen.” As a woman runner I am very aware of every time news like this shows up in my feed. So, unfortunately, this story wasn’t a surprise to me. It would have been helpful to viewers to give advice for things women can do for safety and how men who want to help can also be of assistance. Maybe next time???

Marathon is measured in metric system. Use metric speed units also.

A great effort, but I think 8 years old is way too young to do a marathon.

All the comments being shocked by how much these people are struggling with Kipchoge's pace is proof of how many KZbin/Reddit types don't work out. Most people don't regularly exercise. Healthy beginner runners do 6:00 min/km for their 5K runs. Intermediate runners do it in 5:00 min/km. This is 2:50 min/km. Many can do that for short stints, but after several minutes, the vast majority of healthy people will look absolutely wasted. Some of the commenters here would be lucky to last 10 seconds lol.

I think someone who runs according to matro is like to have clockwork on the back. Everyone has a natural rhythm, and it's good to run according to the appropriate category. ex 150~180, 135-175...
