What a terrifying situation to find himself in. I feel bad for the cat though. It was a juvenile that clearly made a huge mistake in its choice of prey. If it was hunting on its own at only 4 - 5 months as someone stated, clearly it had been separated from its mother before it had learned how to hunt properly.
