Hey everyone, I just wanted to clarify my situation. I’ve got under a thousand hours in DayZ, while many of you have four times that amount. Right now, I’m focused on learning the survival aspects of the game, like building bases and gathering resources. I’m not at the point where my first thought is to engage in PVP; I’m still getting a handle on the basics. When I joined the group and noticed I was being targeted-getting killed on sight and having my bases raided-I felt it was best for my experience to block those players. It wasn’t about being crappy; it was about enjoying the game in a way that aligns with where I’m at right now. Once I’ve honed my survival skills and feel confident with weapons and movement, I’ll definitely dive into PVP. I appreciate the feedback, but I’m just trying to enjoy the game in my own way.
