It’s literally the same playbook. Remember when the media made fun of him for talking about coyotes? He could show you people a video of Biden Harris and every politician you think cares about you raping children and praising Satan and you people wouldn’t even blink. You’d say “yep that’s what I stand for!”

90% Iso alcohol or denatured alcohol, won't harm the plastic tank.

Try Pine Sol, cleans great, will not damage plastic. I dunk whole carburetors in the stuff, and it cleans everything, but does not even damage the gaskets or diaphragm's. Partial disassembly works best. Try it in an ultrasonic tank for even better results. Simple green at full strength cleans even really nasty greasy plastic things, with out harming plastic. We keep a barrel of it at work to clean plastic parts of refurbished copy machines. Tim

Put some kerosene in there for a few days. It won't harm the plastic or anything else if it's gas-safe. Also if you need to remove heavy grease like bearing grease, nothing beats kerosene.

Thanks for the idea! great idea. In this area it's hard to find kerosene but I used to use a kerosene heater all the time until a truck stop near the house doubled the price then stopped selling it.

Hi. Did you get that digital tachometer off of Ebay? How did the tachometer stay attached to the lawnmower cover? Is it magnetic or have a adhesive backside? I need a tachometer because my pushmower is running both too fast at times, and too slow at other times.
@frankiefixdiy
@frankiefixdiy 22 күн бұрын
Here is the link to the Tachometer, it's pretty cheap. I just attached it with tape or I believe they provided a zip tie so you can attach it where you want to. Just click the link below to order it. amzn.to/4cGUACA

Actually I did notice that, the classic simple green was really green, they probably watered it down to save production costs.

Lacquer thinner would take all the junk out but it will eat and destroy plastic. Degreaser or hot water mixed with power dishwasher detergent.

I like the way you think! It's good that you didn't use solvents that could potentially harm the plastic, right off the bat. I'm really sold on my concentrated degreaser that I bought in bulk about 20 years ago, that I still have some left. Awesome is another dollar store product that I have great respect for.

thanks brother, it is coming along for the toro 521, tank looks good time to see if we can get it running, it was free with parts in a box, so i have to sort it all out. What degreaser are you using. Thanks for watching my friend.

@@frankiefixdiy I have been using a concentrated product called clean & simple. It's theoretically like simple green, only it smells like carpet cleaner. I use it mostly on the patio, but also have used it in the past on foam air filters and small engine carburetors. I bought it because it's supposedly nontoxic when diluted.

Linkage was installed incorrectly. It’s supposed to be installed in the hole from the bottom going up and to the bottom again. The way how you did it is just dropped the linkage in to the hole, and it’ll come loose later because of vibration.

You would have to get the model number and google it, then maybe a parts list will show up for it so you can identify the part that is broken.

It was tough to film but there is just one bolt for the brake line and two bolts to remove the caliper, it is pretty straightforward. I do have a new video soon of replacing a rear caliper where the view is a bit better.

Probably throw this one away someday too when I buy a new fireplace but for now trying what you did. I have all the components out and just tested the fan which works just straight to AC power. I want to wire up the heating element too so the fan and heat both come on but there are two black connections? do I jump both with the hot wire? I see the ground is coming off the fan transformer to the heating element, so I believe it's already grounded. Just need power to it but not sure about the two black connectors? I'll be looking this up but if you know please share. Thanks
@frankiefixdiy
@frankiefixdiy 4 ай бұрын
hmm, it has been a while. I would use a multimeter test for continuity on those black wires, if there is continuity i would not hook to AC power directly to it. I thought I wired the heater in my video, I would have to look back, or it could be the black is wired through a high temp sensor so it cuts power like a switch if temp goes over a set limit (limit switch)

got one right now that I left the fireplace shell in the RV for looks but removed all the components and in the garage. We plan on buying a new one but the boards on these like you say are not very good from China. Was thinking about trying what you do for fun on the old parts to see if I can get them working less the board so glad I found your video. You mentioned about putting in a temperature control too. Basically, a rheostat. Have your tried it yet and if not do you have some tips on how to do it without a board?

Great video - followed your instructions and mower started on first pull after not starting. BUT it has started leaking from the red bulb and white breather plug on the side of the carburetor that slots into the mower frame. I took carburetor apart twice and reassembled, still leaking as described. Any thoughts? thanking you in advance

it sounds like a float or float needle issue, like it is getting too much fuel, was the float filled with gas? sometimes the plastic floats fill with gas at the seams and so it won't float and push the needle with the rubber tip up to seal the hole and stop the flow of gas to the carb.

I can't wrap my head around the idea that my lawn-boy mower, same engine, brand new, will not start. It's never been easy to start. If I manually prime the carb by pouring gas or spraying some gogo juice into it, it fires off no problem, so what the hell, how could it be the carburettor that's brand new. I was thinking of slightly increasing the jetting but if by just cleaning it works, I don't get it.
@frankiefixdiy

I have experienced this as well, it seems tipping it on it's side to the left for about 10 seconss or more then pulling the rope seems to let the gas flow into the carb.

Great Video thanks. Don't forget to burp the coolant with that hex plug next to the power steering yellow cap. It must be done to avoid air pockets and overheating. Loosen it a couple turns and idle the engine till bubbles disappear.
