@@thehandsontime I see. The watch I'm working on has a similar size to the signed clasp. I see the spring bar to remove just the clasp and just swap them out. I purchased mine on Amazon but looks like the same one you used and measured, and they are the same size

For Laco, it's history, and the use of swiss movement that makes the difference. Date's back to WW2 etc...But I think they are too expensive for what they are. I don't like the chinese flieger as well, they are poorly done in reality. That Ratio is just super well made, has crazy specs and looks way better than a Laco. But this is me, some people would prefer the instrument look and simplicity pushed at the extreme of a Laco. But that's not me. Ratio is simply one of the best none chinese bang for the buck brand on the market.

Hi Zara, this watch is absolutely fine for a girl, my wrists are not big at all. So yeah you can go for it. Don't forget that even if it was a little longer (not larger) on your wrist, it would look like a Cartier "americaine" which is a wonderful style on men and women. And I don't even think that it would, so a definit yes for me.

In my opinion, absolutely not ! Here's why, when it comes to chinese watches, you have super expensive brands no ones have heard about, then you have Seagull ! But the only two brands that are actually making quality outside of the ones above in China is San martin and Cronos (better finitions, good regulations on movements etc) so no, Cronos would be better for sure ! That's what I think...

I believe the ancient model (the one in the video), was indeed sapphire, and the new one are probably made under license with mineral crystals, not even "hardlex" (own by seiko). Seagull no longer produces that one dear...

The entire goal is to be able to make your watch slip back and force and when it is above, it's not suppose to move (it works I do it so I know). When your wrist is totally expanded because of salt or heat, you choose the placement. But still, if it's well done, you not suppose to experience marks on your arm or wrist, hope that this makes sense. Cheers.
