What if there is no cmd on system32, couldnt it have been a hack, virus? I searched it everywhere. Also for some advice on the web, I only found couple of videos, but showing how to restore it in the windows, running powershell. Please bro, I am stuck here big time, have been trying it for sometime, some days couldn't even look at the laptop. I have a flash drive I can access comand but cant find it on folder or out of it. Save you brother here, we can sort freebies 😉

If you want to switch from Windows 11 Home to Windows 10, then of course install Windows 10 Home.

@@taniyayadav4757 If you did everything as in my video, the Windows.old folder should be on the C drive. The Windows.old folder is created by the installation program and you should have received a message from the installation program about the creation of this folder. If you received such a message at step 6:01, then the Windows.old folder is on your computer. But if you did not receive this message, then you did something wrong.

No estoy seguro de si esto es posible. @@ipMalik Ya lo logre, desde el usuario nuevo se puede cambiar la contraseña del bloqueado, después entrar al bloqueado y borrar la nueva sesión,así queda el pc como antes

Puedes hacer lo siguiente: Haga clic en el botón Inicio, luego haga clic en Configuración, en la ventana que se abre, haga clic en Cuentas, luego haga clic en Opciones de inicio de sesión, y aquí haga clic en la pestaña Contraseña, en esta pestaña haga clic en Cambiar y luego siga las recomendaciones del sistema. Esto creará una nueva contraseña.

This video is so to the point and easy to follow. I like a video that doesn't have annoying music and overdone visual effects that are only good to distract the viewer. This is exactly what I needed and after surfing KZbin I finally found how to have two operating systems on one computer. My second HHD has all the backpacked-up information of files and Windows 10 system files, but I didn't know how to start the Windows 10 system separately from the Windows 11 drive. The main reason for doing this is that I have some great program applications on the old drive that can't run on Windows 11. Thank you ipMalik.

Now let's try to solve this problem and first do the following - You need to start the whole way from the beginning, that is, force reboot the computer, if you have a laptop, press the power button and hold it until the laptop turns off, then turn on the laptop. Sometimes the cyclic reboot stops after this, but if the endless reboot continues again, force shut down the PC, then turn it on and open the command prompt, as you did at the beginning of the process. Write "regedit" and first go through the whole path step by step, but with one change: open the CmdLine tab, mark 5:54, delete cmd.exe, click ok and in the next step in Setup Tupe instead of 2 put 0 again. Continue until the PC reboots, at this point the loop should stop and the lock screen will appear again, asking for a password. After that, do nothing and let me know when you are done.

I'm not sure your Windows USB flash drive works properly. If the bootable Windows USB flash drive is normal, then with such a flash drive you can open the command prompt 100%.

Hiya, went through all the steps for win 10 - Got to the command by the win10 cdrom Did everything then got to the command line for windows. The user name was Guest. Did all the steps - left the password blank twice then exit. Finished booting up but still says wrong password. Any ideas? Thanks.

You most likely have a Microsoft account on your computer, but this video shows my method for a local account. Do you know if you have a local account or a Microsoft account?

Also the desktop log in asks for password for “Admin”. When I get into the command prompt the user name is “Guest”. Should I see the desktop asking me for “Guest”. Password rather than Admin? 🙏

Haha one more thing - when I get to the blue screen booting off the cd, I don’t have the option to “continue rebooting”. Only 2 boxes - restore and advanced. Does that mean anything?

@@RobertValette-k7k It's a pity that you don't know what account you have.. There is one sign of a Microsoft account - the name of a Microsoft account cannot consist of one word, at least two words. The name of a local account can consist of one or more words.
