My dad’s key broke if I buy a replacement and get it cut can I program the key the old key still works. I’ve read multiple things saying you can then you can’t. Because on boarding programming. So I’m confused on what to do. Will it work if I pay the money to get this key cut?

Yea that's why I tell customers for all lost key with this acura minimum $300 if you don't like call pop a lock. This shit is not always fun good job bro fuck paying for a key code

BIG PRAISE TO THIS GUY, parked to eat a mcmuffin, locked my wheel by accident and thought nothing of it. Turns out that’s exactly what happened to me. I recommend turning the opposite direction of the way it locked as that’s what freed my ignition cylinder(wheel locked turning left, so turn right and try to turn key)

Buy a shell change them out it's easy he is just trying to scare you to make the money . Just by the shell for 5 dollers switch them out it's easy.

Lmfknao Hahaha! Yah right so you as a locksmith can charge $300 for 5 minutes or go to the dealership and they charge $500 for a key. GTFOH with that nonsense! Or prove me wrong how much do you charge,$10, $20, $30, $40, $50? What REASONABLE amount do you charge? A NEW shell cost $7.99, plus what you'll charge to cut the key, plus reprogram in seconds. What do you charge in top of the $7.99 of the New shell and key you have to just cut and program

Hey mate best thing to do is disconnect battery again wait 30seconds and re connect, then lock & unlock before jumping in to start , also can put keybnext to the open boot button and will start .
