Watched your entire journey. Very nice videos and peaceful with no chit chat. This is at least the 4th Cape Wrath trek I’ve watched and you were the first to explain the meaning of the name. Thank you. Happy adventuring.

Bonne balade !

it looks great the cwt supposed to be a challenge on a bike but i would say the way you were going across the moorlands was not bike country . would you say it would be possible now you have walked it . and very well done for completing your journey
@bryan91343 жыл бұрын
Hey Geoff, Thanks ! I think it would be definitely possible on bike yeah, accepting that you'd have to carry it for severals hundred meters now and then or just walking next to it. It'd challenging of course, but far from impossible. I encourage you to lean on the maps and some guides to know which ways would be the most enjoyable and secure for you, the Cap Wrath trail is more of an ensemble of many differents paths than just one, and on most of the trail you'll have the choice to adapt yourself depending on the situation. Good luck to you.

Hi John, glad you enjoyed it. I've done only one other trail as long as that one, across Portugal and Spain, but didn't really filmed it unfortunately. All the best to you

I watched all of your hike through Britain videos. I very much like your video style: we see the experience through your eyes but you are absent enough for the viewer to fell like it is their experience. 👍

Yes it does sir, yes-it-does ! Most of the time it's a kind of drizzle, a sneaky scottish drizzle that slowly soak even the best gore-tex : lovely :D

I've just watched all the vlogs again. To all the walkers who plan to make walking videos. There's no need for a load of chatter and banjo music to make it interesting. Just follow this video.

enjoyed watching your journey and still more to yet to watch from before lakes and south. i originally hoped to walk landsend to cape wrath this year via offas dyke, canal paths, pennine way, st Cuthbert way ... but that was before covid became the big problem. Also i think walking and wildcamping with dog in England isnt so practical. lots of cows! Anyway thanks for sharing your journey
@browseedit89203 жыл бұрын
Hey ! Thanks to you :). Indeed the covid didn't make thinks easier, far form it. Just be patient, the Cape wrath will still be here for sure, and it woooorth it. Your trip sounds great, I plan to do as much Uk long distance path as I can, so don't hesitate to come back and give me a feedback. Mmmmh for the dog I don't really know, maybe if he's well trained and you've always got a leash with you in case (many herds indeed, that's part of the charm :), you shoudn't have any problems. I guess the main issue would be to find hotels (when you'll want to rest a bit for example, or visit a place) that accept the fluffy boy. But nothing insurmontable that could truly stop you from walking into the wild with a doggy <3 All the best to you.

Thanks Steve, I'm glad you enjoy the trip. I though the best way to share this walk as objectively as possible was to let the beauty all around speaks silently for itself (best kind of silence in my opinion) All the best to you : )
