We had a Maltese for 13 great years and were heartbroken when we lost him to severe illness. It honestly took a full year for my wife and i to grieve. We wanted to get a new dog but the memories of our dear Robbie were too much. So we waited a year and finally agreed it was time. We intended to just get one havanese and at the breeder he had two little 10 week old brothers and he brought them both out. One had just gotten his bath and he was wet and came running across the room straight to me. It was unbelievable. So as you may guess we got both. Lol. They were too adorable to separate. Best split minute decision we ever made. These two are unbelievable. Inseparable and just heaven on earth. Everything turned out just as it should and that hardly ever happens. Amen hallelujah!!

The unforgettable Snoopy. One and only for me. I still do not plan to get a dog. Not sure if I ever will be able to go through it again. Hope this video helps someone better understand this breed.

I am a little bit late but here's my opinion. The European Broadcasting Union was founded by the European Council after the Second World War. The main purposes of the European Council (which is something different that the European Union! ) are: A. Guaranteeing and protecting human rights for EVERY PERSON and protecting minorities in Europe B. Promoting peace and collaboration between European countries So for me, LGBTQ rights and war are two different political aspects: LGBTQ people are a minority that is still discriminated. To allow them a place for visibility doesn't violate the principles of the EBU and the ESC contest, on the contrary. You said, Nemo looked silly. That's because you or we are not used to it. LGTBQ people have to hide who they are. They have done so for centuries. It's the same as when people say, "Those traditional dresses are silly" or the way another culture or ethnic group does something is silly. There is judgment, and you probably would never employ a person like that, or a judge would decide differently. We just have to learn to accept that people are different, and that's the goal of the ESC. We got used to each other's tastes and cultures and now we like them or find them interesting. We accepted them as equal. It was different 70 years ago. You do not have to like it, you do not have to dress like that. But you could be happy that we live in a society where everyone can be free. People like Nemo move the boundaries for us all. The range of what is "normal" becomes wider. I remember a time when women were judged for wearing trousers (maybe for sport or working but never for going out). Those, that were considered "extreme femminists" pushed and then those less extreme were accepted. Women would never have the rights we have now without those who had the courage to look silly and be judged for their opinion. The war: Art can always be used as a propaganda tool, and Israel did it this year. That's against the goals of the European Council.

I love the article. On many points we agree. Manu times we don't like to share the problem but it is very necessary. In this way, we can avoid any major problems. I believe that two people think better than just one. But it has to be a real friend. It can be a problem for you, but not for the other person. that's why they are friends too.

@thepointstoponder Why not? Artists should be able to present themselves. Who they are, where they come from, what they like etc. People always think it's not for children because it's about sex. But sorry, if people immediately think about sex when they hear gay or queer. It's about love, affection, building a life together. If the reason we should not talk about it is sex, then we should not mention that an artist is married or has children.

I do think that people should fight for their rights. There is so much wrong in the world but this is simply not the place for those flags nothing else. Here we should only wave country flags.
