I was 20 years old back then... I started to work at one grocery store and the work ethics were terrible. Bought to myself a gaming laptop to make my today's 10TB rare music archive. 2 months later I am fired without a notice. I remember that I was crying at the center office of that company at HR. I was thinking about how am I going to pay my installments and help my parents at the same time... The woman at HR wanted to help me so bad to find a job to me during conversation. Of course nobody has returned to me. But! After my terrible two weeks, I found my new job that still I am working on... Now it has been 7 years!!! Our life is like a novel. Sometimes peak moments, sometimes drops... Wishing my best for you, hoping that the next doors you are going to open will forward you to better and happier life!!!

This is what I mean. Times are hard for everyone. I haven't got anything coming up. Out of work and on benefits. I feel lost. Job centre is a depressing place to visit.

@@BasslineClassics it sure do feel like the world is testing us lately but we gotta remember to think about all the good stuff. It’s certainly not ideal but retail and labour and other basic work like that is always around and is a great temporary or side thing to fall back to when you just need some cash coming in. Not sure your situation or what you can do but I wish you the best of luck my friend

Been debating for some time whether to post this or not. Lost my job at the start of June. Didn't reach set targets so my contract was terminated at the end of my probationary period. Fucking gutted. I loved that job. It gave me purpose. There were a few right bellends, but most were nice and I genuinely helped some people and they helped me mentally. Now I have no purpose. They fucked my last wage and missed a decent amount off which may have stretched to next Universal Credit pay period and due to that, the £28.70 I was paid by UC today isn't even going to last the weekend. I can't even afford any gas or electric for fuck sake. Life is a mess and times are tough for everyone so I don't expect help from any of you, but if you do have anything you could spare I truly would appreciate it.
