@@Browner-fw7je I'm fairly sure all clubs run beginner sessions. They all seem to be looking for new recruits so should be easy to find. I'd try something like "buhurt near me" in google or on Facebook. Or alternatively there is a sub reddit called r/buhurt where if you ask on there and state your area I'm sure someone can tell you where your nearest club is 👍

The weapons aren't sharp, typically a 2-3mm edge minimum on them. They still feel impacts though you're right. As for gaps, that's why you invest in good armour. The injuries tend to happen where there are those gaps.

The best way is to look for a club local to you. These are the majority if not all of the UK teams. If you're in the US then the scene is thriving over there, and main land Europe is the birth place of the sport so hopefully you should be able find a group nearby. They're always happy to see people are interested 👍

Give it time, it's still fairly new compared to other sports. The closest it's got to that was Battle Of The Nations but it's ended now. It's only since COVID that it's really spread out of Eastern Europe. But that's what I'm trying to do with this channel, raise awareness and get more people interested.

Probably some cheers from his team mates. In buhurt stuff like that is allowed within the rules, there's only certain things such as no groin shots, back of the knee, base of the neck, bending limbs in ways they shouldn't etc
