Lots of great stats and data. I definitely don't take keep up with the conversion between audio hours to pages. 😂 I just put whatever my storygraph tells me. Seems like you have such a solid month! The Gillian Flynn reaction is definitely valid, and surprising. I'm going to try to read Gone Girl this year 🫢 It's definitely a mix of great writing around the characters & understanding that you may not necessarily enjoy it. I wonder if it'll be the same case with Gone Girl for me. AHH, Network Effect!!! That was for sure my favorite book in the series -- I can't wait to see your final review for it next month. ⛵

I think the best book I read in January was "The Grownup" by Gillian Flynn. I think I might add Dark Places to the TBR! 💛

It's a shame This Cursed House wasn't better! I love a New Orleans book...

The 2024 reading journal itself is GORGEOUS 😍 I actually really like this book you bought! Thank you for the review, I've been eyeing some. I have to say that this book is definitely my favorite pre-made set up out of all the ways I've seen. Though I wish there were more journals with dot or grind because that's my favorite format. This video reminded me once again, I wanted to get back into journaling again so I got out my supplies while you talked about the stuff 😂 The Naruto Shippuden at 3.5 ⭐🫢 I loved it... but I think that all the flashbacks and everything was not it haha. Thanks for showing this to us! 🩷

I know EXACTLY what you mean about the journal layouts, i stopped keeping a physical reading journal because I received a pre-set one in a book box and i just found it so unmotivating having to write about EVERY book and it started to feel like a chore, I think I might attempt one like the second one you showed because it's a lot more creative and I might then only do proper spreads on books I ADORED and want to immortalise in the journal, thanks so much for the inspo (+your very soothing voice!)

I have no real plans for February yet. I should really film my monthly TBR but I'm not even sure if I'll do a TBR 😂 The only one FOR SURE on my list is going to be Ali Hazelwood's newest book Deep End. I know you don't like her books 😂 But it works so well for me. I cannot wait to hear what you think about A River Enchanted! I really enjoyed her previous books a lot too though I actually I have seen a lot of mixed review for Divine Rivals actually! I was surprised because I think on booktok it was a lot more positive. 🍷🍷
