This video was so validating. I couldn't stand Opal because she couldn't say her name without lying twice, and she even admits (in her own head) to emotionally manipulating(/abusing) her brother, yet she never faces any actual consequences. (And the part where she actually, literally applauded the queer couple coming out to her made me want to walk into the sea and never return.) 🗝🗝

I hated both books by this author I read. I read ten thousand doors of January and once and future witches. I waited 70% of the book for the doors and there was only one...

I also did not enjoy ace of shades and immediately when I finished I knew I wasn’t continuing on with the series. I also agree with she who became the sun, had potential but I didn’t love that one very much! ☀️
