Sir in example -x^2+4x-4 when we substitute x value as 1 we don't get f(x) less than zero. So that the quadratic equation should be -x^2-4x-4

Sir what is the meaning of " Reciprocal equation of the standard form can be reduced to an equation of half its dimensions"

For example, take a biquadratic reciprocal equation in standard form. Divide by x square on both sides and let x+ 1/x equal to z. Then x^2+1/x^2 is z^2 -2. Substitute it in original equation. You will get a quadratic equation in z. So a biquadratic equation in x becomes Quadratic Equation in z where the degree is reduced by half. Please verify it with your teacher. Thank you
