The house asset where the doctor's memory is found has been in other games. Here the basement entrance is usually where the bathroom is,

You must be new to these type of games. These indie devs have been ripping off assets from other games for years. There's like several games on this channel that has you in the same exact house! Today's games are mostly: Backroom clones / Silent Hill PT Clones / Resident Evil Clones or if it's not some popular game being ripped off it's developers ripping off assets. It's sad these type of games actually get sold for $$$. Now future games are using OBVIOUS AI Voices and AI Art (You'll notice this straight off the bat). Today's games are F-ing garbage now. Clone upon Clone... nothing original.

They sure are in dire need of a better screenwriter and better writer, and better director. The world graphics though is good. But it spends too much time in weird and boring dialogues. If you don't have a good animation team, just use other way to explain the back story... Like a letter or something. I felt bored and watched only 10min. It is promising, but lacks objectivity.
