Love Lisa's Elsa her voice is incredibe. It's so powerful, icy, soft, sweet, angelic, emotional, unique and fits Elsa perfectly. I find her too screamy in Let It Go and Into The Unkown but she did well with the other songs from the Frozen Two movie. Really love her in both For The First Time In Forever versions she performed the songs from her whole heart and the acting is wounderful Lisa is just super talented. Lisa's singing is beautiful but to she shines mostly in the speaking parts Elsa's cold side show's but Lisa also brings the loving and brave big sister vibe beautifully❤❤❤️❤️❤️

Overall good translation! Some comments: 1. The title could just as well be translated Into the Unknown, as this expression means practically the same. 2. "Det klarer seg for meg" at 1:07 means "that's enough for me". 3. "Hver dag tærer på min styrke" means "every day I'm getting weaker" ("tear" as used in your suggestion is "tåre" in Norwegian). 4. A couple of places, at 1:48 and 3:03, the sentence is a question and not an affirmation. So "But are you also" and "Do I dare to follow". Nice that you try to make the version understandable for the international audience:)

A small note, but the title should be "into unknown land", not "the unknown land" as "the" doesn't belong there. Otherwise, not much mistakes to see, so good job.

_ You’re not just guessing. Elsa and Anna ARE definitely Norwegian. The name of their fictional kingdom, Arendelle, is based on a real fishing town (Arendal) in southern Norway. However, Arendelle’s scenery is based on western Norway where there are many fjorks. Out of all 3 Scandinavian countries, Norway excels in terms of having the most fjords (Sweden has a few but nothing can be compared to Norwegian fjords and Denmark’s geography mostly comprises of flat terrains) _ The dresses that Anna wears in both movies and the short films (Frozen Fever and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure) are based on real bunad, a traditional Norwegian costumes that people wear on formal occasions. There are approximately 400 types of regional bunads and each one represents the place where the person lives, grew up, or has ancestral ties to. _ In Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, if you pay attention close enough for a short scene where Anna and Elsa prepared for a holiday banquet, there was a big plate of ring cakes on the table. They are genuine Norwegian ring cakes (Kransekake) that people usually have for wedding, birthday, graduation and holiday banquets but instead of having the Norwegian flags placed around them, you’ll see the Arendellian flags instead.

It’s a good translation for all the Scandinavian languages, but way too awkward to sing. The end note is “oh” in English, holding an “öh” (basically) is very strange, also because the last syllable of “ukendte” is unstressed. So yea, you have to consider the stress and rhythm of the language as well. That’s why song translations can be so hard.
@Sundith01
@Sundith01 4 жыл бұрын
Same! I casually made my own version of the song in Norwegian since I was a bit disappointed... and it works saying "inn i det uskjente" or "inn i det uskjente, det uskjente". Its all a little bit awkward saying "in I uskjent land" in my opinion. I'm also a bit stressed over the fact that it almost seems like they are relying to much on the English text to make the translation or the sub, but aw well
