It's okay ooo. I sewed from the zipper allowance down to where that hemming allowance started from. Then I pushed the vent allowance to the left and top stitched on the upper part of the vent. Then I folded the edge of the vent with half inch. I don't know if I'm making sense. Had it been there's room for video or picture on this comment section, I would have videoed it and sent to you. But I'm so sorry for not making that part of the tutorial clear. I would have explained that part very well.

To start with, is your fabric a stretchy fabric? If yes. Use one inch sewing allowance. It will still be fine

You are welcome. Sew the zipper allowance straight down. Leave some inches for your vent. Then you hem the sides of the vent and the lower part.. Sorry I didn't remember to show that that part
