lol nice video, what's the dive bar at the very end of the video where they are singing Rage Against the Machine? That's my kind of scene. I'll be going to Bali next year and I think Kuta is the place for me. Even the one at the very start of the video with the live music, looks great, and I'll have to go to the hard rock cafe too.

Awesome! Glad you found it useful. The bar is called Fat Buddha. Couple of other bars with similar vibes are 69, naughtily duck (very divy), espresso bar

Great content guys keep it up i have one question if u dont mind ill be coming to kuta next month and want to rent a bike but i dont have an international licence would it cause a problème with cops or ill be ok? I d love to meet you guys if you re in kuta take care

Thanks! We have never been stoped, but there are cases, and now probably a bit more often, where we heard people are being stopped. If you are careful and good driver it should be alright, but it’s on your own risk.

Bali is looking great! I visited once and loved it. How much rent + bills should I account for when renting one of those locally found, nice studios or 1-bed apartments/condos in Seminyak or Sanur?

Hard to pin point, since it’ll depend on what you looking for, probably starting from 10 mil and higher. There are a few Facebook groups where you can find them, if you just search for “Bali apartment for rent”, will easily find a few. Disclaimer though, that we never rented anything from those groups, so always stay alert for scammers.

Thanks! I guess it was Benging beach ☺️ we’ve spent just an hour once on Keramas beach, did not swim, so can’t tell much about it. It’s black sand beach and there are some warungs.

I love kuta because of it's mix and the domestic tourist are great. get to learn about the country. I find canggu and semiyak you get the long term expats and bad frat boy crowds from Australia. Some of the worst tourist ever. When I travel the world people always complain british, chinese, russian tourist, and Australians are right up there with them. Their terrible in America their 3rd most popular destination and indonesia is their 2nd most travelled destination.

Ubud, it’s closer to the nature, waterfalls and a bit further from tourist areas, although Ubud central is packed. If you want to get some good time at the beach, check out Amed (for quiet times) or Uluwatu/Nusa dua.

some parts of the island are nice but lets be honest, alot of it is poor, peple living in houses resembling tin sheds. I wouldn't excactly call it a magical island unless you only stick to a handful of areas which are not like that.

I think it’s different for everyone, we found magic (esp. in people) here which does not exist in other places we’ve been, again strictly individual.

I love Kuta. There is just so much to see. And cheap food for someone like me who is a poor traveler is just so much easier to find in Kuta than anywhere else in Bali. You just need to walk away from the beach into the local neighborhoods where there are friendly warungs with mostly local clientele

Kuta Bali is one of the greatest places on earth.If you want a quiet place go North.Just don’t complain because it’s not your seen.

Just come back from seminyak hated it. Litter everywhere and the locals let the dogs poop on the beach didn’t pick up. Will never go to Bali again . The people are lovely. But Traffic is a nightmare 😮.

I am in Bali at the moment and i think it sucks, i visited Denpasar, Sanur, Kuta, Jimbalan and it is way overcrowded and not beautiful at all like tons of people are saying, i am looking for anotjer place to stay hoping for a better view and stay, will try to go to seminyak tomorrow

I came home last Saturday I’ve never been so disappointed with anywhere so much as Bali. I thought seminyak was dreadful Nothing like I expected. Definitely not my idea of paradise.I would never consider Bali ever again but beautiful friendly people
