Best News I've read in YEARS, im sure sue is a lovely lady, but the Eileen Grimshaw charactor was painful to watch, so smotty, snappy, sarky. Honestly it shoulda ended with her being rejected romantically by Gail, i mean CLEARLY eileen was in love with gail, always concerned with every & all of gails dealings. She made janice battersby look like a picnic party. Aweful charavtor, hope she takes mason with her, HURRAY EILEEN IS LEAVING YAHOO❤

Sad news. Life stinks Sue Devaney. You are a better artist than most of the cast and the producers at IFV needed to Sue Devaney respect. Treating people has gone out the window. Colleagues, co stars Corrie friends who have worked with her for many years will be worried about their own jobs. I think management at Corrie have a serious issue like achieving a friendly place to work and value artists all artists

Brooks will have to tread very carefully. The news of Debbie Webster's decline has not been well received. Adding in Battersbys mark two is a tad unnecessary when there is enough dead wood that could be got rid of. And don’t get me started on strong characters being very underused in the last year - although the Swarla development has turned out to be a good move tbh

The show has changed so much in the last 10 years with the younger writers who can't capture the mood of the street as it has been over the years. Nearly every character on the street has been in jail, half of them don't seem to work at all and nearly everyone has been married three or four times and/or are cheating. Don't get me going on the numbers of murders. I've been watching this show since it started and now it's hard to stomach just 1/2 hour show.

Testicular cancer mostly affects young men. From personal experience, I've seen it in lads as young as 14. I wish this was reflected in soap-opera storylines in that one of the younger male characters plays that part. In fact, Jacob Hay actor, Jack Ryan, was just 19 when he was diagnosed. That's twice now Corrie will have pedalled this storyline with older male characters. To have it affect someone young would be more hard-hitting and lead to greater raising awareness of this particular type of cancer through family discussions etc.
