My first smartphone was Windows phone with Here Map (as called then) Here WeGo for me exactly because the offline abilities! P.S. I'll go further in terms of operation system Windows was the best! Super simple, super intuitive. Nowadays both IOS and Android are just supper s**t.

I am going to Italy, and other countries and walking everywhere...almost. I just learned about the Here we go app as it allows me to download walking directions. Big deal when I'm on a limited data plan. Thanks for this video. Very helpful. I'll download now and use it around home base to get used to it.

Just got one old Huawei P40 lite and must admit the battery is still AMAZING compared to (almost) all - even new phones. I also h8 most spying Google Apps but for some reason so many other companies have made their apps reliant upon GPlaya and apps just won't work without it. As you can see I am not a pro in SmartPhone space and in case u find this comment, let me know if you have a workarounf (that is not Gspaces - so many ads I almost vomited - I run Linux and haven't seen an ad on youtube last 4 years... at home and on my main laptop). Why do these guys always go on about loving something like its somebody ? It looks cool ? So does a frozen pond in Russia but then I'm skeptical about android watches that needs a phone, bluetooth, an app and you have to sign up and become a member BEFORE it will tell you the time. Meanwhile, the phone will tell you the time so I'm support to think the watch is "insane" and ticking all the right boxes within the mind of a man who doesn't know better. Save your money, buy a non smart watch if you really want to know the time without being tracked.

Nothing can beat HERE navigation, my old nokia and now my new phone still works like new.

I’m trying to make new roads in the middle of nowhere I’m trying to find a way to follow my layout markings on the map like to see myself offline do I need a satellite gps I got a ZOLEO that pins me but I can’t over lap them maps what I think I’ll end up doing is looking at them side by side

Does anybody knows I it's possible in one way or another to import my data from Google MyMaps to Here? I'd like to import a KML or KMZ file but ie doesn't seem possible. I'd hate to have to create collections and save the locations one by one all over again in the app.

GT three or free?

I still use P20 Pro but I'm looking to buy a new phone. Can someone help me what to choose? Is P40 Pro still good choice? Specifications for new phone are: -OLED display -Stereo speakers -Telephoto camera (optical zoom) -IR blaster (I'm so used to this feature on P20 pro that I don't know how can I live without it on new phone) -RAM size, internal storage size, CPU, GPU to be like or better then P20 pro

I have really enjoyed my Huawei gt2 but I'm very interested in upgrading to watch 3. It would have been nice to hear storage capacity for music..but otherwise a very nice review. Also, I think huaweis watches in the GT range should be considered a health and fitness tracker watch with some smart watch features rather than a full-on smart watch. But I have had a great time with my GT 2 and huaweis software updates make it better and better. As of Nov 22, I see that you can now link up to STRAVA also .. this is a very nice watch. All best

If you can't reply to text messages and notifications I don't consider the smartwatch although it is a really nice watch it's more like a really fancy fitness band with a big display.
