BTW I don't know why Hakumen in the first fight was holding his OD / Burst. Maybe for the next match? lol

As a Mai player, I wanted to expand a bit on what you said about Ragna matchup: There are actually a lot of moments where Ragna is problematic for Mai. First is air neutral. Usually Mai dominates air space with JC, flips and suzuran, but Ragna can easily catch Mai with air gauntlet hades and blood scythe. His JC is also very good. Actually his JC is a problem even on the ground. Mai 2C anti-air covers a lot of space, but head invul starts very late on frame 10. Meaning it's almost impossible to react to IAD JC. You either have to press 2C preemptively or try to hit him with 236C. Both options are very risky and lead to huge punish on whiff. Also Mai main pressure reset with empty command dash just doesn't work with Ragna. He can just use inferno divider on reaction, and whether Mai player tried to punish abare with 236a or flip back, Ragna reversal will catch her. Only option is to bait with instant 236214 input when Mai is far enough from Ragna, then inferno divider will miss. And then there is 5b and his speed, which makes contesting him on the ground a challenge, since his options just has less risk than Mai's. And Mai doesn't have anything effective on defense, flip is easy to catch for Ragna with 5b or 6d. It's still Ragna and this matchup is far from unwinnable, but there are a lot of difficult moments for Mai. Mai is a very weird character matchup-wise, only top tiers she struggles with are Es and Litchi, but then she just gets destroyed by bottom tier Ragna and Terumi. P.S. Thanks for running those tournaments, bbcf doesn't get all that many events lately.

Izanami: One of the strongest and hardest characters to play in the game. Mai: The literal BBtag character. Smacks Izanami from the entire screen like she's Rachel Alucard.
