it is completely insane what he gets done here. this is sooo difficult, most people sound way more monotone with modular. you need to know your setup perfectly to just play around like that live. if you make just one mistake, everything breaks down and you could actually blow the audiences ears out. takes so much practice and courage to play such a beast live. on most techno gigs, they only launch clips and play around with the filter (maybe). which is fine, i enjoy such gigs as well. it takes another skillset to prepare everything beforehand and line it up nicely. but on a difficulty scale, this is so much more nerve wrecking for the performer and should be taken into account when enjoying this music!

@@lebannerfan65 100% you can. You can also make any track in a DAW using a fraction of the plugins installed, or paint a painting using only a fraction of the colors at your disposal. Point being you don’t have to/or need to use everything at your disposal for everything you make. Also you can make stuff however you like, there’s not one right or wrong way to do it. This is my method, you do you.
