🤣 😂 I'm actually 1/8th German myself!! I need to work on my faux german accent especially considering that's where Ableton HQ is located... Glad you liked the show and the beats! More beats incoming and some new SDHOs in the pipeline. Also, next Spiritual SDHO will be on "Alchemy" so that should be good. Thanks for the love and support!!! ✊🏻

Thank you for the video! A lot of what you said resonated with me. I've embarked on my spiritual journey a couple years ago, reading Eckhart Tolle's books and some lectures about Buddhism. Somehow I've lost touch with that realm almost entirely and have been caught up in a rather negative, nihilistic way of thinking for quite some time now. Also just a lot of unpleasant internal sensations and emotions that don't seem to be linked to specific thoughts. I know you mentioned some names in the video but do you have any specific recommendations on books, talks etc. for someone who wants to get (back) into spirituality? Would love to see more of those kinds of hangouts whenever you feel like doing them, of course! Your easygoing approach makes them very enjoyable to listen to.
@Jemeneye7
@Jemeneye7 8 ай бұрын
yes, definitely...! so i think you'll like this dude "Geoffrey A. Hoppe" who channels 'Adamus Saint Germaine'... Have you ever heard of the ascended master Saint Germaine? ...The Purple Flame?? He channels St Germaine as "Adamus Saint Germaine" and these channelings have been going on forever and presented over at the youtube channel "Crimson Circle". If you like it I would also check out additional content on the other YT channel "Crimson Circle Unofficial" which puts the full Adamus channelings out. This might help especially the way you talk about the energies that are there for no reason apparently they just need to be felt and re-integrated he talks a lot about that... Also, I heard it said the most progress happens when you fall off the spiritual practice and then get back on, so the fact that youre ready to spin the wheel again is good. one love!

@@Jemeneye7 I rarely work with percussion these days but I'm definitely gonna play around with some redux hats next time I do! Loved the episode as always! Unrelated, but have you ever thought about making talks/videos focused on spirituality?
@Jemeneye7
@Jemeneye7 9 ай бұрын
It's totally related tho!! and yes, this channel was actually a spiritual channel back in 2017 but no one watched/cared so i turned it off (and forgot about it) except for an occasional ableton tut that i felt inspired to make and post... I do sprinkle the spiritual stuff sporadically across the SDHOs bc that's ultimately the highest art that I feel I'm experimenting with and truthfully the only one that matters in the end imo.... . I will make other videos (to include spiritual/energetic alchemy topics),and I appreciate you and your comment very much, thank you my friend 🤙🏻🙌🏼⚡️💜

@@Jemeneye7 Ohh, very interesting! This is also something I've been experiencing. Expression through music or any form of art for that matter is a pathway that can ultimately connect us with what truly matters. I think I'm still it at the very beginning of that journey, though! Whenever I hear you mention energies and other spiritual topics in your SDHOs, I'm like: 'Man I wish he'd dive a little deeper into this' haha

Your SDHOs always inspire me to try new methods. Thank you! Bless me father, for I have sinned... The last time I used Tension when I watched your last Tension SDHO! Hi, I just wanted to leave a quick comment again and thank you for all the wonderful content. I may be in the minority here but I'm really enjoying the mainly uncut videos and listen to your talking and all the different sounds emerging. I tend to be way too result-oriented when making music and therefore almost dreaded opening Ableton at times. Your way of teaching and approaching things helps me to be a bit more at ease and make sounds for the sake of making sounds and experimenting rather than stressing about creating something great. Enjoying the process in itself and living more in the moment is so important. I also love the last few minutes of this SDHO as I sometimes worry about that all the time I put into learning about sound design and music will be to no purpose with the rise of AI and how easy it's becoming to make something that sounds nice. I now feel reassured that I'm following the right path and I want to dive even deeper into it so I'm looking forward to watching all the remaining SDHO episodes. Much love <3

yes mate!!! I thought the same thing with regards to AI... So then I asked myself; "why do i do it?, and why would anyone else want to do it if AI could do it for them??" then it came to me that the doing of this (or any creative expression) helps us experience our higher multidimensional nature (our quantum self)/ higher self). connecting with it is such bliss...!!🤟🏼💜

Re: The arp/rndm issuel the devices are fundamentally fine and doing what they are designed to do.... What's happening is; if the rndm is first then you have one randomised note being kicked out and then arp'd until you let go of the key (i.e. lots of instances of the same note). Whereas if you have the arp first it kicks out a succession of instances of the same source note; each of which hits the rndm device and gets randomised individually....... All the fun of signal flow logic. :)
