Regarding number 6, at timestamp 11:25, you were wondering what the examiners wanted here ~ The way I looked at it is: can we find reaction equations where a gas is acting as an oxidizing agent, and other equations where the same gas is a reducing agent ~ Turns out for hydrogen gas you can find plenty of equations where it's a reducing agent ~ But there's also a few where it's an oxidizing agent: H2 + 2Li -> 2LiH [H2 is oxidizing agent, Li is reducing agent] H2 + Y2 → 2HY [H2 is oxidizing agent, Y2 is a reducing agent] 3H2 + 2Ga -> Ga2H6 [H2 is oxidizing agent, Ga, gallium, is reducing agent] It looks like reactions with metals, hydrogen gas acts as an oxidizng agent ~ And with non-metals, it acts as a reducing agent ~ I think this fact is what they were testing Btw: Great work on all your vids! ~ Altogether [including other past papers] we have just a handful of different answers~
