I can only see a few of my recurring meetings in zoom, but can't find one in particular that I've been using since January 2024 (about one year) and I want to edit the meeting name. This is so frustrating! It appears Zoom isn't showing us all recurring meetings anymore and I can't find any solutions.
@BangfordКүн бұрын
Hi Brenda, thank you for your comment. It looks like I'm one of the lucky ones as I have just one recurring meeting which I use for everything! Zoom has been really inconsistent on this, changing it then changing it back etc. I have noticed that even now, when I open zoom, it doesn't always show the link to scheduled meetings. I'm testing it now and the bar on the right is just showing "schedule a meeting". My workaround is to keep the number of the meeting in a separate doc. If the link is missing, I join my own meeting. It works :-)) Cheers, Toby.

The study of nucleic fluxes in meteorites is a relatively specialized area of research. Nucleic fluxes refer to the flow of nucleic acids, such as DNA and RNA, and their components. While meteorites are known to contain a variety of organic compounds, including amino acids and other prebiotic molecules, the presence of nucleic acids or their precursors is less common and can be considered a significant finding. If you have discovered nucleic fluxes in a meteorite, it could be an important contribution to our understanding of the origins of life and the potential for life’s building blocks to form in extraterrestrial environments. Such findings could provide insights into the processes that may have contributed to the emergence of life on Earth or elsewhere in the universe. If this is a new discovery, it would likely require further investigation and validation by the scientific community to determine its significance and implications. Make a video on this topic Toby! You are more than welcome to use my videos x

I keep getting the intermittent problem now! Sometimes the recurring meetings link takes a few seconds or minutes to appear (bottom right, scroll down). When that happens, I use the meeting number to join the meeting. It's weirdly inconsistent. Thanks for flagging, I haven't been able to keep up with all their changes!

I remember this case well I was a teenager at the time and it shocked the whole town as violent crimes like that didn't happen in Redditch let alone violent murders. I remember seeing him on the news with West Mercia Police appealing for witnesses and describing how he cradled her as she was dying. The guy exhibited all the signs of a classic psychopath. Showing no sign of any real emotional responses or empathy. Just flat emotionless matter of fact. It was an explosion of anger and hatred. A very frenzied and sustained attack with 57 stab wounds as I recall which suggests a guy with an intense hatred of women or a warped sexuality that requires violence. Since he stalked her he most likely had an abnormal twisted sexual arousal that requires inflicting extreme violence and murdering. Quite a daring attack in daylight in middle of car park given he must have been covered in blood and couldn't have hoped to flee the scene. I remember the knife was recovered. He'd thrown it over the carpark down onto a building roof and think the police got a finger print on it. He ended up in Broadmoor a secure prison facility for the criminally insane didn't he? Never to be released where he belongs. The other frenzied murder we had in Redditch was Tracey Andrews who stabbed her boyfriend to death. The same as Stuart Hopkins appeared on TV at first and was not initially considered a suspect by police until later on. I remember seeing Andrews a lot around the Kingfisher Shopping Centre before the murder. She's out of prison now and even had cosmetic surgery in prison. Way back in late 19th century was the very first murder (and only murder of a police officer) very close to Redditch at Icknield Street a stones throw from St Leonards (Beoley) Church. PC John Davis was stabbed to death by a man stealing sheep in the early hours of the morning who was later caught and hanged for it. It happened very close to the cross roads between Beoley village and Redditch along Icknield Street leading to Wythall is said to be haunted by the ghost of PC John Davis. There's a few sightings of him with his unusual 1880's police uniform which one driver mistook for fancy dress custom when stopping to offering him a lift only for him to vanish. PC John Davies grave is at St Leonard's Church, Beoley and his original Constable badge and a memorial display is inside the church which itself is rather creepy. I always felt a presence in there as a young lad.

Hello Paul, thank you so much for all the info! I have read multiple reports online, dated around 2001, that he was either moved to an open prison or granted parole. I vaguely recall the Tracey Andrews case too. Thanks again for adding a local perspective to this case. Cheers, Toby.

Enjoying your videos, we’re doing a similar itinerary next summer but swapping Alicante for Cagliari. We sailed on Britannia this year but to Norway, we really liked Britannia. We ate in the dining rooms which were included in the cruise and a few extra cost restaurants. The buffet was always heaving so we gave it a miss.
@Bangford4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much Sarah! That's a good swap. The castle in Alicante was great, but the walk from the ship to the beach wasn't good (some discarded bottles etc, bit of a mess). It was the only place we visited that felt like that. We discovered the dining room breakfast on the penultimate morning and realised we'd made a mistake going to the buffet every day. Enjoyed the Beach Hut and Sindhu too. Hope you have a great cruise next summer :-))

Santa Barbara Castle is incredible and I still get the heebigeebies at the shot of the sea from the top of the castle because I know there are these sheer walls with a sloping bit at the top. There's another incredible castle a few km in from Benidorm, Castillo de Guadalest, it's got it's own museum of torture. Also, there is the Fonts de l'Algar, a waterfall, made famous for the Timotei shampoo advert. Fantastic cruise you've had, almost tempting me to take one hehe 😊
@Bangford4 ай бұрын
The thought of those sheer walls is giving me the heebigeebies now! It's funny, I was much more worried about being in the long tunnel waiting 15 minutes or so for the lift! They really love their castles and cannons round there don't they. Thanks for the info, I would love to check out the waterfall. Thanks for watching. The cruise was a great adventure, we got to see a lot of different places in a short time. It was good knowing that you could go back to the same cabin every night and not have to find new places to stay. Cheers, Toby.

We found on Britannia that you could actually tuck the towels into the sides of the sunbeds, between the framework and the plastic coverings. Also found them to be the most comfortable sunbeds that I've come across on holiday.👍
@Bangford5 ай бұрын

I'd be scared to death of being on a cruise ship, but it does look beautiful.
@Bangford5 ай бұрын
That's really interesting! I had some concerns about it before we left. I was worried it would be difficult to sleep if it was moving around too much. That was fine, but the room felt slightly claustrophobic and it was weird knowing that you couldn't go anywhere other than on the (giant) ship. As I have an insurance background, I tend to assume the worst and thought the ship was "probably" going to sink at some point. When we got back, I found out that the same ship was caught in a storm in Majorca last August, broke free and hit an oil tanker. So glad I didn't know that before!!!
