The clean tone is pretty bad. There is no substance to it at all. Nothing to make it sound fuller. Reverb and other effects can help “thicken”up a generic clean or distorted tone to help give it more presence. It sounds like when you get your first amp and guitar and play it in and start to play without adding anything else to it. The riff is also very boring and mediocre which makes the combination of the “dry” tone and lackluster riff just terrible all around.
