The scene when he tells her she is far away... i get always and everytime goosebumps when he says those lines You cannot be her. She is far away. She... she is far, far away from me. She walks in starlight in another world. It was just a dream. Do you think she could have loved me? ... Am i the only one who was hoping a bit more Kili and Tauriel romance???

Kilis death was probably the saddest that I felt when watching all the 6 movies. He was soooooo charming and flirtatious yet so loving and his attraction towards Tauriel was so pure and honest. I cry whenever I watch his death scene and when Tauriel says “if this is love, I do not want it.” You could feel the love she had for him too. An epic scene from two beautifully written characters.

I cried so much the first time i saw this escene, I was traveling back then.. leaving my ex behind from Argentina cause we have been forced to separate us cause of their parents.. and i was traveling back to Chile where i'm now, and this scene broke my heart cause of that reason.. this happened in 2018 and in 2019 cause of things i still don't understand she leaves me and broke my entire soul.. now thats 2022 i still miss her so so much she was the love of my life everything to me.. since she have leave i just feel i wanna die ive none purpose.. and this song really makes me cry..

I’ve just rewatched the last hobbit and realized when kili died he’s muttered ‘amralime’ which we all think means I love you in elvish. The same phrase the told her on the lakeside

Tolkien didn't write any of this. Tauriel and her love story with Kili was invented solely for the movie.

You can tell how much she loved him because she gives him the stone back. He kept to his promise to come back to her. And she’s letting Kili keep his other promise that he will go back to his mother and meet her in the white light. And I like the think she’s making him a promise when she gives it back to that she’ll come back to him when she leaves this world and joins the white light.
