Very nice! I'm actually looking to build a much less elaborate version for myself. But I can't figure out how the pictures are attached to the drum! It seems that glue or rubber cement would wear out after several playings. Are they wired in somehow? Like in a Rolodex? Thanks!

Don't mean to be a downer but I wanted to visit his store again while I was in the neighbourhood for a work lunch today, and I had some time so I tried to find the place. Then google told me he had close down last year and was trying to make it more online while he travelled overseas looking for more antiques to collect.

@@mrfriendlyguy Sadly due to rent increases for time being Phill has closed the shop. He will be at Artisans & Collectors Market Nov 30th, Dec 1st and also sells in Donnelly’s Auctions. Hopefully a new shop next year!

I'm a broadcast Camera Operator, Film Maker and collector with very similar taste to Phill's. I first learned of "Dr Russell" from watching an episode of "Desert Collectors". Your beautifully shot and edited film has reacquainted me with him. I think it's just superb. I can't fault it. I am now enjoying the episodes of "World of Curiosities" and look forward to more! (I think I definitely need to travel west to meet Phill one day and hang out in the Imaginarium.)
