he's only playing two strings! i have faith in you! in this performance, he's playing it a whole step up so his low e is tuned to d. on the recording, his low e is tuned down to c.

@@gregoryjee oh yeah i know the main chords he repeats during the song but i mean where he starts doodling around at the 2:00 mark. ik its probably him just doing a lot of improv but it sounds so cool. im still pretty new to guitar
