@@aaronkrech2286 I am aware thats why I suggested the Dragoncrest Greatshield and more protection from armors. its playstyle is really something like that. it is better if one can master the ashes of war since when I making this, i was in a hurry. however its possible to not get hit when using the ashes of war.

Need to do series of test for this. Will update this build soon. Last time I checked, build is still fine on the landscape and few bosses. Now we do have different kinds of definition of " fine " XD. But yeah, will update this soon.

Yeah, there are cases that the Spinning Gravity Thrust will have a hard time. But I've tried using it with " the final boss " and yet managed to beat him. But its hard as hell since there were few opportunities for the ashes of war. However, aside from " him " the rest is manageable. Just don't spam it ike out of no where XD

Before you apple the ashes of war, the system will ask you what type you will use. If you have the corresponding whetblade for blood, it should appear.

It’s so frustrating using katanas and anything other than a heavy colossal weapon the katana just doesn’t make enemies flinch which results in being stuck in weapon art animation

This is a valid point if you are focused on stance damage. I never had problems with it. Although, unsheathes and all are a totally different story. Colossals def has an edge if we are focusing on stance damage alone.

What can else can you use instead of bloodboon? I wasn’t a big incantation guy back then and found too late about the mausoleum thing😢

Hmm, there are a lot of options since I picked my incantations according to the build's theme. But TBH, you have a lot of options. Since you do have Arcane, you can explore Dragon Communion incantations like, Dragon Maw, Dragon Claw and the like. It really boils down to preference.

The DLC has 3 new Mausoleums to use, or you can go to NG+ Side Note: it's always better to pick the spells because you can get the weapons from a friend who can duplicate them.

@Hito112 Another note is that the Mausoleums work even if you no longer possess the remembrance. It will remember, pun intended, that you earned it and can select its copy anyway without needing it in your inventory. So, no losses there if you ate the soul or used it at Twin Husk

While building towards this, what stats do you recommend we prioritise early to mid game? Obviously the stats to wield it, dexterity or intelligence first for damage? Or vigor and endurance first?

Hello teri! When talking about early to midgame stage, I suggest prioritizing Vigor and Endurance first, especially if you are still adjusting to the game's mechanics. Then I will keep Dex and Int with same points as much as possible. However if you find yourself using the range attacks of this katana often, which you can do so by the way, you can put more points to DEX and INT since the chances of you getting hit, will be lessen. However if you are like me who prioritizes melee range for more damage output, follow my first suggestion.

For future build videos, may I suggest stat spreads for milestone levels (level 50, level 100 etc) so viewers have an idea how to spread their stats out on their journey to level 200? I'm kinda too scared of Malenia and other bosses (and too stubborn to skip them) to go into NG+, so I've been maxxing level 175 when I finish the DLC on top of that. I heard there's an excellent grind spot in the DLC, I'll look into that.

Sick build! I haven't found that sword yet but looks awesome. I originally went str/fth but I've been leaning a little more towards the dex weapons this go around haha.

Thanks Danku! There are also a lot of sick combinations for STR & Faith. This weapon in my opinion is more of style points. Its really fun to use once you can get around with it.

It's not something you find per se. You have to give a specific npc a specific item after a certain event. It belongs to Jolan, the woman in Manus Metyr wearing Black Armor.

Furious blade of Ansbach does NOT cause blood loss. It's bugged and doesn't even have damage scaling.

Thanks for the input and apologies, I have misspoken that it helps you ramp up blood loss, but I was thinking about bloodboon really due to 0% sleep. But in terms of damage scaling, I tested it when I was building this setup. used the finger seal and dealt 300ish damage for a regular ansbach combo and when using the Dragon Communion Seal, damage is around 1k plus.

This is true, you can see it change depending what time of the day it is. However, I see it as a bonus only since I don't want to keep on switching to a specific time just to fight a boss XD

@@revandaharjono9524 yeah it def look a stance in all aspects ut the thing is for the Talisman to proc, you need to seconds in stance mode. And the stance of Sword of night does not last for 2 secs. If they will let us hold the stance then yeah.

@@game4mido Yeap its totally fine. Any good build is viable in the DLC. In fact even if I was not able to update it crushes. i just love the moonveil though. of course one need to master the bosses.

This is the hardest boss I have faced thus far, and I have already Platinumed the game and Hell is Where the Heart is. He keeps grabbing me. Sometimes I manage to lower him by one bar, but there doesn't seem to be a guaranteed method.

Surprisingly high quality of the video. You did good. I've watched your gameplay closely and the amounts of bleeds caused was super low. Against Malenia you needed 9 swings for a single bleed. I suggest dumping down strength and investing in arcane to increase the blood build up. Because why use a bleed weapon and talisman when you hardly make stuff bleed?

The Rakshasa doesn't scale with arcane, so arcane doesn't effect bleed build up.

You can also use Rotten winged sword insignia in place of turtle talisman for more burst damage in one combo cycle

Samurai can u do some digging, cuz my firta play through got corrupted so i had to restart and on my way back to end game i saw a Io main so 1.6 mil damage in a uncharged regular attack and i dont know if they were hacking or hot

Hi am very sorry to hear this. Always make sure you have a backup save. It happened to us once. Now the player, you are talking about, we've encountered some cheaters in the past however, it's hard to tell whose cheating at this point. I am not an IO main so no data on this. But my guess is its possible if you have a optimal IO setup. She is capable of dealing huge numbers. Narmaya and the others can score 8M now in one skill.

Can not select due to shortage of materials. Easy way to solve it Yes. Just go back to precious game not the tank match before tank mission. Don't kill all enemies, recuse some of the enemies and collect something from them. Among things you collected you'll collect c4 with it.

Hello shawn! You are not going to use normal attack that much in this build but in case if you want to optimize and attack after releasing Transient, always do one hand.

Simply i obtained magic scorpion charm, stop there and dont talk with selvis avoiding giving amber to you and any futher quests and move on ranni quest as long as u don't talk selvius n obtained Amber's, keep goin get fingerslayer blade then give fingerslayer blade to her from noktron only if after defeat rahdan.
