I bought a Ver3 Power play three years ago. Its a great bike but the power connector that you charge it through rots. I am on number three on that bike. the plastic is junk. The connector just fails. apart and then it will not stay closed. Duct tape is how I manage the failure. In order to replace a simple connector you have to drop the motor. Bad design and bad customer support. I took a chance and bought a ver4 C90. My Ver3 rode very well and never had a drive issue. It does seem to eat drive lines as I am getting my third right now. The C90 has been the shop for months. The LBS can't seem to fix it. RM doesn't seem to care. The C90 has a torque delivery issue. It doesn't throw codes but the torque clips at the top of the pedal stroke. since there are no errors on the display nobody wants to work on it. I would caution anyone not to get involved with Rocky mountain. They have little to no customer service. My email is [email protected], my phone is 18027353288. Perhaps if I piss on your youtube video someone will notice.

Yeah this shit sucks. I have two RMs and even though I love the way they ride it's not worth the hassle. Nevermind the overpriced proprietary stuff

Sick to see the Island getting big into biking. More good locations, ever growing community, and lots of ways to grow the sport and the talent. I remember when I first got into MTB in the 90's, going to visit my parents in Victoria from Vancouver and thinking why isn't MTB a thing here? So much good terrain. Living in Rossland now and I don't get over there nearly enough, not that I'm not lucky with what we have here either.

I had a Rocky Mtn Altitude 4.0 . It required a lot more rider energy than a Brose, Bosch or Yamaha to get the most out of it. The biggest drawback was the battery charging system overcharged the battery and the battery exploded and burned everything in my garage to ashes. Rocky Mountain seemed to want to help, but in the end they just wanted to get the burned bike out of my possession and pretend it never happened. Two separate professional fire cause investigators said the Rocky Mountain bike was the cause of the fire. I feel a duty to warn potential buyers of the very real danger of keeping a Rocky Mountain bike indoors. The damage to my home and property is over 350k, and I am lucky to be alive. Don't take the risk with a Rocky Mountain E-MTB. It is not worth it.

Awe! That's too sweet. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Bikes for all! Hope to catch them again when they're all grown up and still loving days spent on bikes! Cheers! (Actually just checked out the video we made from that day in 2021. April, was that little girl's name :P amongst a ton of kids ripping the Taupo jump lines that day. Sweet sweet memory! Thanks!)

Hi Rocky Mountain Bicycles, I notice that more that a decade ago you had a video with in-flight safety surround as the back sound. For me personally, it was the best bicycle advertisement that I've seen thus far. Recently, I've tried to look for the video on KZbin but couldn't find it. Do you mind to give me the link, please? Thank you.

How would you compare the C90 version to the C99 version? Does adding the extra travel reduce its poppy playful corner ripping easy climbing overall great feel in any way? I rode the C90 and fell in love!!!! Need to decide which to buy!!!
