Felissa Rose was offered the chance to reprise her role as Angela in 2 & 3, but she didn't understand the character change for Angela. She didn't get the change from silent introvert from the first movie, to wise cracking extrovert in the second and third movies.

The guy who played Eric was an actual kickboxer in real life (so was JCVD for a while before acting for that matter)....I forget his name at the moment. Also, he was imprisoned in 2017 for 15 years for fraud and tax evasion. Also, JCVD and the actor who plays "Tong Po" were childhood friends and came to America together....apparently they had little/no money at first until starting a training gym together.

There's not a lot of Jewish horror movies and so far the ones I've seen are pretty good. I suggest Lullaby with Oona Chaplin, if you like this one.

I think the remake and this one and Texas chainsaw 2023 kind of follow each other. I think that's what Netflix was aiming for when you think about it.😁 I liked all three of those movies compared to the original part 2 and 3.

Also I think the message here is that grief can be crazy things to someone and honestly it would be hard for those people that can still loved ones not use that old burial ground. Even knowing what everybody do it was hard not to.. navigate to folklore because nobody wants the temptation.

So basically dead Gus decided that the veterinarian's kid was a kid he wanted and his childhood sweetheart was the one he wanted. So he killed his whole family to get a new family. Anthony what's his face that plays the dad is just in the way basically😅 but it's still a cool movie I do get what they were going with there.

That’s not very black / i mean smart of them. 😂😂😂 u called it right. We legit have a black national anthem. The 2nd vers loses me each time tho. “Beyoncé made me feel unsafe “😂😂😂😂 I didn’t like this movie at first but after a few rewatches it became hilarious. A sequel is in the works.

@@dchinsee I highly recommend the prequel from 2011, also called The Thing. It's a good companion, and too few people react to it. People are too hung-up on hating sequels/prequels of classics, not taking enough of a step back to acknowledge that the original movie isn't harmed and that the prequel is still better than 90% of horror movies out there, and that it's a very good sci-fi horror movie in its own right.

@@dchinsee There's also 'Splinter'. It's not an awesome movie in terms of characters or plot but it's got cool body horror element very similar to The Thing. Also a movie that is rarely reacted to. And I'll also mention 'The Hallow', Irish folk horror, again with body horror similar to The Thing.
