I genuinely wondered who composed this port because I can never seem to get a proper consensus... I can somewhat believe its Martin Walker considering he has arranged the soundtrack of other games quite well like Atomic Robo-Kid and Earthworm Jim, the music is honestly pretty great although some tracks could use improvements

This actually sounds better than the Sega Genesis version. It's just livelier. Although, the Soccer game BGM has a lot of muffling (5:22).

Part of me wonders if this was the result of a direct conversion of the music data from the Genesis version to the Game Gear... It would explain the desynchronisation (the tracks likely don't have the proper pauses at the end so they wait for the rest of the channels) and the complete lack of drums. Some parts of the basslines sound like they were intended to be drum tracks...

Ah, the distinct talents of Marshall Parker. Hearing his work gives me warm, nostalgic, fuzzy feelings. I grew up with his music because I played Tom & Jerry a lot on my GBC as a kid.

Unknown track 3 is when you get a high score without being first. Yup I'm addicted to this game hahaha

This is actually supposed to be arrangements of the sega genesis music. The composer probably didn't have the proper tools to compose the music, which is why most of the music desyncs. Tazmania - this is supposed to be the level 2 music from genesis Minecart - one of the boss themes from genesis Snow/Flying - final boss music from genesis Ice - ending music from genesis Egypt - jungle river from genesis Forest - Ancient ruins from genesis
