Cyberpunk 2077 feels much more like Blade Runner than Edgerunners does. While action segments are the star of the gameplay, you can easily spend far more hours in conversation with all kinds of characters and driving around taking in the environment's awesome juxtaposition of futuristic beauty with visceral grime. You get to know Night City by _existing_ in it, _with_ its denizens and _as_ a denizen. By the end you'll have spent more time in seedy bars, dark alleys, and random cars having long heart-to-hearts than blasting gonks... as long as you don't skip all the dialogue like a child because it's "the boring part".

I agree with the story and the material you used. Great stuff!i think I interpret it just a little differently. I think Reigen finds value & fulfillment in the virtue of his work (making a living, solving peoples problems through hard effort) and in his relationships with others who he respects and who value him (mainly Mob). Once Mob leaves & the birthday happens, he realizes his life is missing that fulfillment. His remaining relationships aren’t of value and don’t value him. He feels this emptiness, he has a panic attack without realizing it, vomiting in an alley when he hasn’t had any actual alcohol. He feels the emptiness, but makes a slight mistake in the source. He thinks he needs value in work and value in relationships through success and acknowledgement as a psychic (which he isn’t), something that he indeed had with Mob alongside the value in helping people and value in relationships. He works hard to get success and acknowledgment back [as a psychic], climbs the ladder, and thinks he has it again. But when he’s exposed as a fraud, the facade of self-worth comes falling down, and he sees the mistake. All those people who see him for what he’s not aren’t what matter. It’s the few people that see him for what he is, and we see him apply this when he uses a press conference for the masses just to talk to Mob. Mob’s words bring it all together: even when Mob was gone, Reigen was doing hard work and helping people. He was being a genuinely good guy. And Mob sees him for it. Mob values Reigen for who he is, not for being his psychic master (Reigen’s fearful question to Mob in the credits). Unlike the fickle masses and gullible bar-goers who value him for something he’s not, Mob values him for something he is, and he values Mob.

Dude manages to intimidate and fight psychics using mind games and thinking that an accomplishment. He's literally doing psychic damage without even being a psychic. More psychological damage but still. Dude may not be a psychic But he first pick for building a team for fighting any psychic group. Well he doesn't have any powers. He brings a lot to a team that just having another psychic there in his place wouldn't do the trick. I would almost classify him as a skill monkey. Which are way more useful then you would think. You can do things that other psychics clearly can't. He's not that good in combat. He doesn't need to be.

My only gripe (although it is a genuinely reasonably sized one) with Kessoku Band being "too good" is that, the jazzy math-rock stylings of J-Rock music naturally demand musicians of high calibre; and I don't believe its possible for Kita as an individual to get good enough to play this style of music in such a short amount of time starting out as a novice. Even if - as band - it would take a long time for them to be tight enough to play their music well together, if they were playing simpler music, then it would be believable for them to sound as good at they do. Although I love Kita as a character and her motivation to get good because she really wants to support Hitori and get on everyone else's level (which is still slightly too high), to be able to play and sing such difficult music in a matter of weeks and months is jumping the shark. Ultimately, that is not a complaint, but something that does pull me out a little bit. At least we know that she does actually practice and try really hard, so its not out of the realm of possibility... it is no where near as egregious, hateful and insulting to musicians as Yui in K-On!

Holy…. You managed to both blow my mind and bring me to tears in just one video. You brought a very unique perspective to not only the show but the cyberpunk sun-genre as a whole. I commend you for making this video, sir.

A friend recommended the show to me and I didn't know what to expect going in (frankly I expected something akin to K-ON, but that's not Bocchi haha.) It's an absolutely brilliant anime and I enjoyed it a ton

I truly love this anime.. the journey she's going through to try and get out there and do all the things she always hesitated to do.. she found friends and started expressing herself, realizing that she belongs in this world and there's nothing wrong with her.. it's a story about self acceptance and working on yourself, I find it truly magnificent.. also the music's pretty good!

Ok this is the third time I’m watching this video in the past month, and I think it’s a masterpiece. Granted it hits me perfectly because I love Re:Zero and music theory, but every part of this video is just perfection. I can’t say enough nice things about this. Thank you! ❤

I think a good additment would have been if the other teams aside of the main cast would still have fear or hatred towards Zero Two since she killed some of their companions. It would be interesting how the cast would try to defend her and make even question if Zero Two can cure her sins of her past.

I really like how Reigen sometimes makes it clear that all your good and bad sites don’t define you. They are just that: One aspect of you. If you are the most powerful being in the world, it doesn’t mean that is all their is. It’s just one of many characteristic you have. But even more important: All the shitty things about you, bad features of you that you hate, bad decisions that you regret are also just some characteristics about you. Defining yourself by these things is wrong because there are way more facets in your life. You don’t to hate yourself for something like this, just accept that this is a part of you and that you are more than just that. And this isn’t just some philosophical bullshit. It’s just the way it is. Even if you think of yourself as the worst person alive, someone else could love you although they know about all your bad features. You could be the hero in someone else’s story without even realizing. While you define yourself by some shit you can’t change, the people you love won’t do that. Even the worst villain has a loving wife and kid.
