Those bags don’t work this the new flock heads. I bought 5 doz of the new. And those bags,no matter how you put them in they end up bending the beaks and tails of the decoys. Not a very good match for the VF2. The difference poses is the problem. They just don’t lay down n side with out smashing he beaks when you pick them up. No a good match.

If you play the wind it doesn't really matter as the deer will know your there regardless. You can use a tree, fence line or even a patch of taller grass to hide you from the back. Some guys use more then one blind also to surround yourself.

Did they fly off the roost to your side or did they fly over after? This looks later in the morning. Great stuff!
@Weekendwarrioroutdoors

They flew over later. On the piece of property I've had birds fly across the river to find me many times. I have another piece I hunt and they won't cross under a barb wire fence. It's what makes it fun!

@@Weekendwarrioroutdoors thanks for the reply. I live in MN and have property that borders north AND east on the Mississippi north of Aitkin. I hunted this morning and yesterday and there was still ice for them to walk over but I've heard toms won't fly over large river like that unless they are desperate.

The ShotKam is the best training aid money can buy for competitive clay shooters. For less than the price of a coach for a single weekend you can own one. It tells you more than whether you shot behind, over, etc. It tells you if the clay beat your barrels to the hold point. It tells you if your killing the clay at the break point. It tells you if your executing the correct method (pull-away, swing-through, maintain-lead), it tells you if your lifting your head and so much more. It’s an absolute value.

I have one and used it in the middle of a plowed soybean field in VA. Even with bare dirt it lets you blend in and I can't think of another blind that will do that. I don't use mine often but when I need to disappear in an area with little cover I take it.
