Big hands here, I only ride slimfits. I feel like I have more bar feel with the thinner grips, makes the riding feel more responsive. Although, that’s probably not real or an exaggeration of a miniscule effect. Don’t be hesitant to try the slimmer grips if you are a larger rider.

What is the black installation bolts purpose during this installation ? Why replace with the Anodized bolt ?

Pretty sure that the black bolt is a stronger bolt , once you tighten everything down and clamp the stem off . You can then replace it with the softer alloy bolt.

Just got my Deity seat post clamp and love it! The blue matches perfectly to my other components! With a cable actuated dropper there is no need to disconnect the cable, just remove the clamp screw and the cable passes right through the opening in the clamp

I’m new to MTB .. been riding almost a year after 30 years of skateboarding .. got myself a new Deity parts upgrade for my Evil DJ bike .. new stem , 80mm bars , TMAC pedals , grips , top cap , and even presta valve covers .. I swear , if Deity isn’t the “Independent” of bike parts soon , idk what’s going on 😂 love this company!! Just as important as independent is to skateboarding !! The best parts and hardware !! 🤙🏻
