Ive done runs at LACR, Famoso same car powershifting and shifting super quick Wasnt even .10 difference so why bother? I always remember when we pulled into car shows people just stopped and stared. That car had the best cam idle ever and it’d shake the windows in the house.

When I was 20 y.o. @ orange county raceway in California,,,in my 67' ss 396 4 speed chevelle,,, running 13.07 shifting like this guy does, my older brother was in the bleachers watching me run,,, and he said ,,,,,, why are you letting off between gears??? I said,,,, I don't want to break anything,,,he laughed,,, and said next pass Don't let up powershift it,,, I said ok,,, guess what? 12:77@ 107 m.p.h. and from that day till now @70 y.o. I never let off between gears, and I've owned four speed car's all my life,,, and never broke a trans, or clutch,,, R.I.P. BRO,,, F.y.i. I currently have a 70' 4 speed nova small block, that turns 10: 49 @ 128 mph,,and a 66' buick gran sport factory 4 speed,, also have a factory 4 speed 65' comet! That runs mid 12 second passes,,, I picked up 3 tens of a second by powershifting,,, and the rest is history,,,,

I will always love late 60s Camaros now this isn't the fastest I've seen as my dad had a 9 second one but still impressive

What transmission/shifter are you running? I have a Muncie m21 with a hurst shifter but I feel like I have damn near a foot of travel between 1/2 and 3/4.

That 302 z engine is great why don't people make them is it not possible to build one now a days out of a small block if you have tge right cam and bore size they rev so high its amazing
