In many states you cannot retain certain gamefish caught on juglines. My state of Texas is one of them.

No you got to check in jobs about every 2 or 3 hours jugs believe me I know jug fishing cuz we go Chuck fish and we go all night long leave out on a Friday afternoon about 6:00 in the afternoon and I ain't home until Saturday or 5:00 in the afternoon we check ours about every 2 to 3 hours and just load up fish

Don't worry about things like that you can't catch them all I've been catching catfish and soft shell turtles since I was 3 years old I don't know how many big old boys I've lost sitting trot lines out all you do is bait it back up so it back out there asked a good Lord to send you up one is three times even bigger but don't worry about it it's called fishing it's fun you never know he's going to come back and hit it again put a big old piece of chicken breast on there and sink it to the bottom of one of them noodle things you using God bless both all three of you get some good old boys they call me cowboy I've been fishing the Hillsborough River Tampa Florida for over 40 years cost some of the biggest Tennessee blues you'd ever seen your life but I used to run with my daddy was called the catfish Express keep the faith boys God bless each and every one of you I'll be watching your channel

I’ve done a 30 lbs flathead but from 2 to 15 lbs range is best

@@victorschlemmer8291 I throw the belly meat out because it’s time consuming to get the bones out. Some people save a cook it but it just won’t be boneless

I went jigging and was amazed how fun it was. The awesome thing was when a huge catfish was on - the jug would take off like a submarine partially out of water. It was good days...
