Watching this in 2024 makes me realize me that Tyra only cared about protecting the celebrities names. No wonder Diddy got away with all this for years!

We have a strange culture where being honest is a problem. People have a general expectation that others should protect their abusers. Opening up makes a person seem like they are the problem instead of the problem they are discussing, which is the exploiting nature of the people in the industry and the glamorizing of the truth to seduce young people into a fairytale that simply is not true.

Tyra kept Karrine honest! That’s what a great interviewer or journalist will do, in my opinion. I don’t know that Karrine was ready for that.
I know this was along time ago, but just a few years ago when she did the Vlad interview. She would state that whoever she was dating she would tell the guy that Lil Wayne comes first. Like WTF?! Her book was nothing but trying to get that money. Not to help women in general.

Looking back at this, Tyra may be on the Diddy tapes. Or that modeling was a cover up for 304 activities.

2:41 that fake laugh Tyra gave and it’s a “tell a lot” was just ugh and she literally skipped over all the abuse and the OD that was just mentioned

Omg Tyra please stfu. She was filled with hate and jealousy you could see it in her face and in EVERY word she spoke. This interview had NOTHING to do with the book a as bd her trying to throw in that “they’ll tell you to leave”

Ery time essence would play at the Howard, Funk use to say, ( this gonna be on our album Real soon y'all. ) for about 3 years. Till it came out in 83 spring time. The beginning of body move was so historical. Ppl new the whole bands name and never even seen the band live.

Very disgusting that she’s been abused and mistreated, some of it by men cheating on their women, but Tyra is fixated on bullying a woman speaking the truth. She’s so gross and misogynistic.

I could never figure out why Tyra made me cringe(back in the day) but i see now Tyra is really a clown. Its sad because she's such an icon for so many, especially young black women. But seeing who she really is and was now that i'm an adult blows my mind.

I think Tyra was throwing a lot of shade because she is friends with a lot of the wives/girlfriends that this woman mentioned in the book so she had to play like she didn’t like the woman At this time Tyra was very close with Beyoncé and Beyoncé was huge at this point

Tyra’s attitude might rub you the wrong way but I think it made the interview more interesting. It pressed the author to open up more and defend her book
