Within an hour of me alerting BD Diesel to this video, they issued a full refund and an apology. I wish it hadn't come to this public shaming, but I just could not get past their customer care people who insisted I could not return the item. And the PayPal "buyer protection" was a complete waste of time, adding to my frustration. BD Diesel said this will be used as a training opportunity. So if you find yourself in this situation, maybe try a little harder than I did to find someone there that can help. I would still recommend any of BD Diesel's prodcuts to anyone.

If you ever consider selling this, please give me a call. Please. I'm not a rich person, by any stretch of the imagination, but I've got enough saved up to buy one. I'm a Builder/Remodeler by trade. And I'm really looking to replace the RM80 my Dad bought me & the memories my father created for he & I when he bought me my 1978 RM-80 just before he was killed in a car accident. I was 13 yrs old. And I was keeping up w/older buddies from my neighbiorhood on their CR-250's & YZ-125's. Id have a SCOTT face-shield full of dirt, but Id be right behind 'em roosterin' & trufin' !!! To this day I don't even remember who my Mom sold it to, (Which I feel guilty about) because after we were forced to move from my childhood neighborhood in South-Burlington Vermont, at the tender of age of 13, where riding dirt-bikes down the side of the road to get to the trails was perfectly OK< as long as we rode side-saddle when the local cops would roll on by....... to moving down to Old-Saybrook, Connecticut where all the rIch, snot-nosed Ocean living people lived & called the Cops the second they heard that 2-stroke screamin' down their roads ! I got in MORE trouble on that sweet little ballsy scooter than I ever did back home in Vermont. I too had mine jetted, and it use to wheelie 1st, 2nd, 3rd, by just rollin' on the throttle ! I use to out run cops at least once a week. and, they'd be at my house & at my High-school every week looking for me too ! Ha ! Ha ! Finding an RM-80 to buy & re-live some extremely important memories by just tinkerin' w/it & just owning it would mean the world to me, considering I'm 58 yrs old now. So, anyone who might have one, preferably a 1978, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME ASAP ! 1-802-324-0707. My name is Richard. Thank you !

Grand national stock ran in the high 15's no telling how much money he spent to get it ti run 11's.

Ha ha ha! Ha! Ha. It ran high 13s bone stock. Pretty typical - the magazine testers were getting 4.9 0-60 and 13.9 with factory-delivered cars. How much did it cost to get into the 11s? More than a modern car does but I still had fun doing it.

My videos are embarrassingly boring compared to most, but I'm learning. I used the RTH function on that flight. When you see it spinning around I had lost track of it. I got a message that the controller signal was low, but it was only a few hundred feet from me. RTH brought it back quickly and accurately. Once I could see it again I took control. It's really hard to crash them unless you hit something. Good luck and have fun!

@boost4fun8 жыл бұрын
The fridge was in the middle on the right side as you're facing the front of the trailer (opposite side from the camera view). The fire definitely started in the fridge compartment. Not sure why the front went up before the back but it ultimately burned down to the frame.
@donrumsey8168 жыл бұрын
Where was the Fridge located - looks more intense toward the front of the trailer. I installed an www.arprv.com to help avoid this problem.

@gbgn110 жыл бұрын
what did you do to finally fix problem?
@TTATurbochargeThemAll10 жыл бұрын
I had a similar problem with my 87 Buick GN, wide open throttle no problem but low to mid throttle I had boost surging where my boost was going up and down bouncing from 14 to 20 pounds up and down which I solved by installing a small intake air expansion box between the compressor intake and the MAF sensor which prevented the inlet air from bouncing back and forth. The box is like a resonator with quarter size holes in it to catch the bouncing air so it does not reach the MAF sensor giving surging fuel inputs. I found this air box from a 1984-87 Nissan 300zx turbo and it fixed the problem. You could make one as well. I could make a budget boosting video about it to explain it in more detail this week if I have enough requests and comments about it on our you tube video page. Knowledge is power, its horsepower.
@gbgn110 жыл бұрын
Id like to see a video on it, Thanks
@TTATurbochargeThemAll10 жыл бұрын
gbgn1 we made a video at www.budgetboosting.com its in our budgetboosting you tube page titled 84-87 Turbo buick surge fix. Using an intake box with holes inside of it from a 1984 through 1987 Nissan 300zx turbo cars. Can be found at various wrecking yards. The video will show the box in detail. Once the box is installed between turbo intake and MAF sensor, any low, mid throttle acceleration turbo surges due to free flow will be cancelled in the box. The box will stop the surging air from reaching the MAF sensor stopping variable fuel flow which causes those power surges. Let me know how this helps. Most turbo buick guys install the aftermarket computers like the FAST but this fix works so you don't have to spend all that money and use the great custom chips that Turbo tweak makes.

ok, now you see what Ive had to deal with, I have the dynojet box with the old part's in the plastic box. BUTTTT, why would he do the jet's and not see that it was running ragged? I think this guy was just a general change parts guy and not a REAL MECHANIC and then takes me for about 256 ,00 now im reallly weary as to who messs;s with it that thier not a nerd that dont know aything.. like I was saying before i found a guy that's MMI certified on harleys kawasaki honda suzuki. get things right
@kirkconway10 жыл бұрын
I got a jet kit put in month's ago. but the guy didnt clean the carbs and charged me 245,00 I got it home and it ran the same as before. the bike was running a while back and the baffle insert flew out, so thats why i was gonna get a new one from Dennis Kirk. so thats where it is right now.
@kirkconway10 жыл бұрын
yea, see that's what i was thinking too. a bike sitting for a year or more is not good. I found a guy a few miles from me that's an MMI certified mechanic. im taking it to him let him service it then It'll be right. im pitting OEM dunlop's on both end's then ill get an insert from dennis Kirk for the V&H pipes and put it in and then it wont be so loud.
@kirkconway10 жыл бұрын
I as wondering if it would do anything if i put some sea foam in there with a full tank. and then drive it 75 miles to see if it would clear the idle jet's out and then run decent.? It might ned a whole car of sea foam to do it. but If it need's the carbs done? that that's the best way.
@kirkconway10 жыл бұрын
thats what im doing too, I think mine are hard from age. whatever is a good overall tire like dunlop, or meztler, or even bridgestone.
