Pretty cool. Can make your auxiliary fence a little longer and add some infeeds and outfeeds for additional support while you walk around the saw.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking... do you want to know how big this compressor is or which is the smallest compressor I have?

The only reason I brought this up is there are a lot of stupid people out there, who really don't know what they are doing, but which you obviously do. I worked in a carpentry shop for a few years and had an accident and know the dangers. It is a really good jig. Peace ✌️

Thank you for your comment, and I'm sorry to hear that you had an accident at work. The truth is that woodworking is quite dangerous, and any jig that makes it safer is very welcome. Have a great day!

Blade can't breathe and will possibly heat up too much and wrap. Possibly 🤔
@BlackBadger-st6tk19 күн бұрын
In my case, the saw blade did not heat up. I used a dust collector the entire time, which created an airflow inside the enclosure, so the blade had enough time to cool down between finishing one cut and starting the next. However, there is still a possibility of the blade heating up. Given the interest in this jig, I will try to come up with an improved version next week that addresses this issue as well as better dust collection. Thank you for your comment! Comments like this are very helpful for identifying and solving problems with these jigs

Damn, that is brilliant. I am going to use this concept, for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the appreciation! I made this simple jig because I had quite a few long pieces of MDF to cut and wanted to minimize the working time. However, please be careful when you approach the end of the cut; make sure to pull evenly on both the piece you'll be using and the offcut, and it’s essential to use a riving knife to avoid kickback. I will try to update this jig by next week to completely eliminate the possibility of kickback.
