I loved this frog instantly..shockingly actually..but then it all fell apart. Literally. The front nose of the bait split open and was chewed up showing a massive hole. (4 bass)... so...I tied a second one on...I got maybe 8 fish on it and missed a couple on blow ups...at the end of the day, I inspected frog #2, and it was starting to split as well. Returning the other 3 I bought. For $20 each, they should last a lot longer. Did you have issues?
@TylerBrinks5 күн бұрын
No issues yet! Sorry to hear it fell apart on ya.

Looks like a good bait. Spot on profile will be interesting to see both the action and how it holds up to repeated strikes. I’ve used a similar style JDM frog called the Scooper Frog in the medium size and it has been producing a lot of fish for me this year. Good preview

It weird that people think catching bass on jig heads are a new phenomenon
@TylerBrinks10 күн бұрын
It's nothing new at all, just changing with specialized jigheads and baits. Plus the whole shaking it for suspended bass you see on Livescope is definitely new. Thanks for watching!

I actually prefer that old VBS braking system. I like buying these budget reels and then tinkering with it (my hobby). Don't need ceramic spool bearings. Just flush and re oil with thin oil. I then install bearings on the knobs, worm gear, and driveshaft. Souped up cheap reel that will perform like a reel that's double its price!

Ill be the first to admit i dislike the googan franchise as a whole but i swear i cannot get behind a whopper plopper with the prop in the rear so close to the rear treble. The googan lure has the prop in the middle and i hate to say it has proven itself time after time.

Bro I was fishing a swim jig Thursday early evening and threw between two log lay down trees and had a monster hit it and I reeled it up to about 2 feet from the boat she jumped clear out of the water and threw my hook and I was sick, she was huge I would guess between 8 and 8 1/2 pounds and I live in Southern Ohio so that’s absolutely a monster here. Her mouth was bigger than my hat
