Nice review! I'm sick and tired having Shimano shoved in my face here on KZbin. I'm also big on Abu Garica...rod or reels. Lews are pretty nice also. I go with Pfluegers on a spinning setup.

Definitely not a lightweight but in the tough category try the Daiwa BG. Aluminum frame and sideplates coupled with a screw on handle make for a smooth, rock solid reel. Very popular saltwater reel.

Great call! I've heard good things about that reel too.

What people don’t understand is Megabass 110s are ment to be fished on 8-10 pound test. I’ve only bent out there hooks one time and it was on a 8 pound striper that was going nuts after I hooked it. It was my fault though my drag was set to tight, it was a rookie mistake.
@TylerBrinks3 күн бұрын
I use 10, but most of my bent hooks are big smallmouth that go crazy

I was looking for the 3inch in a brand new bass pro shop store down here in st Augustine. They didn’t have any of them on the shelf. Durability is my main concern i fish mostly zman minnowz
@TylerBrinks3 күн бұрын
Durability won't be as good as a z-man but much better than regular plastics, it's got a tough feel to it but still pliable.

Hi Tyler! I agree, the colors are incredible, so I really would love to try the 3” size now in the winter. It’s got a sleek design, like the easy shiner, but appears to be even more subtle because of the smaller paddle tail. I think this should be a killer in the cold water. I guess we will see.👍
